I’m engaged and before I met my fiancée I was wilding in my 20s like truly to the point based on the men I’ve talked to I lived a rockstar life. I truly can say sleeping with bunch of women I got it all out my system. But now with my current job there’s men in there 30s that seems like they don’t spending time with there wife. They’re all going out tonight after this networking event but I chose to go home to my fiancé simply because we don’t spend that much time together and I enjoy our fridays together because we can play games, watch movies actually have some quality time. Even my father is the same with his wife he doesn’t like to spend so much time with her versus me I cherish the little time we even have because we don’t get that much because of our work schedule. The guys make jokes about me I find it funny and don’t take it the wrong way because me my fiancé have our own friends and do not do everything together. But all I’ve notice is a lot of married men seemed to not like there wives. Like there only married because of the service they provide versus me I feel like I’m about to marry my best friend. So my question is do you guys enjoy your partner? Weird question to ask but ya lol

Hello I’ve been a producer for about a few weeks I have been cold calling and although I’ve made some appointments this way I was thinking about going door to door to other businesses. Is this taboo or a good idea to get appointments? I plan on attending networking events as well.

Just recently got a new job and I’m reading up on how only 6-8 percent of black men are making 6 figures…. Pretty wild how this is a low number anyone here making around the same ball park income wise?

For context I have a new corporate job where I have to wear a suit and meet clients. I talked to my stylist and she advise me not to constantly retwists due to breakage but has one client who gets a retwists every 3 weeks or so for her corporate job…. Do you guys think this is possible? I’m looking at all these rappers like how they constantly keep there dreads fresh like new growth showing at all lol…. Idk I’m a point if it’s not possible I’m going to just cut it all off. Any tips?

For context I was broker specialist under a producer for Top MGA. I got an offer working as a producer on the retail side and emailed my resignation letter to the producer I’m under and the regional manager being CC. After a few hours I was locked out of everything as I currently work remotely. I called the producer and the regional manager is on vacation. The producer provided frustration and confusion and told me he was paranoid that I was going to steal his book and told IT to remove all of my credentials. The entire discussion was all over the place I told him even in the email that I planned finishing all my task and we ended the discussion on I’m still being paid for my last 2 weeks now without doing absolutely nothing. Super weird…. Been in the industry for about 6 years now but this is by far the weirdest exit for sure. I’m not even sure the producer even has the authority to do all of this considering the regional manager handles all of this I’m assuming.

Currently 5 years into P&C commercial lines. I realized im currently capped salary wise and its either i grind a designation out or try to find a producer role which has been extremely difficult considering I have been a account manager throughout my career. Im seeing a lot of medicare and life and health positions open. Im curious is it possible to be to work for two different agencies that has nothing to do with each other as far as the product that they are selling?

Does anyone here live in Georgia and can give me advice to avoid certain areas? Me and my fiancé are more focus on Lower cost of living and obviously I know north Georgia is a no go for me maybe Rome Georgia but not sure about that side. I have family in Atlanta and Statesboro but I’ve been mostly looking at Macon Georgia? Not familiar with Macon but all I see online that’s it’s ghetto and I’m assuming it’s mostly by white people saying this. I’m looking at the properties and it’s just hard to ignore the price point being so affordable for me considering I live in South Florida. Any advice would help.

A couple of weeks ago I almost killed a man. This Man lives adjacent to me and my fiancé on the third floor and for a while now we hear loud banging all throughout the night can’t sleep my fiancé couldn’t sleep. Him and is girlfriend have two kids one who is non verbal. There was a lesbian couple below them that called the cops because one of there child tried to open the door and there were scared because they didn’t know someone was breaking into there apartment. They called the cops and the man on the third floor was angry banged on the door and screaming at them that they are just a child. We have neighbors above us who are white and at this point we think it’s both of them that are causing loud banging late at night and also early in the morning. My fiancé wrought a lengthy note about the disturbance and the man adjacent to us was screaming banging on the entire apartment building door including ours I had my headphones in and was in a meeting so I didn’t hear it. My wife told me and I was really heated. I grab my gun and went looking for the dude had the gun chambered as well couldn’t find him so I went to his door at this point I never been this angry because one my fiancé was scared two who are you banging on people doors and three he already yelled at two woman so I wanted to see what he was really about. I mean my finger was squeezing two pounds of pressure I really wanted to kill this man and as soon as he opened the door he said “hey brother” with his wife at the door and kid on her arm. At this point he wasn’t a threat but I still wanted to beat the crap out the dude with my bare hands just off the mere fact he was acting big and bad and I wanted that energy reciprocated on me. We talked it out but at the same time I’m still a bit overwhelmed by myself because I never thought I could be at point where I want to really end a man’s life. Me and fiance are looking to getting a home at this point because dealing with apartment with neighbors just suck. That’s it I had to get this off on here because it’s bothering me a bit after few weeks.

Hello the producer I’m working under has me on extreme stress I get the industry is in weird place. I’m stationed in Florida and we remarket 24/7 around the clock literally. I respect the producer grind this man works everyday sometimes till even 4am emails I get in the morning. I made a mistake i assumed( I never should assume after this) a coworker entered masonry on last year file and it’s brought to my attention it is frame building on the SOV. The producer was furious and emailed me and cc the VP of our branch about this error. Now I’m paranoid and going back from may renewals all the way till August with a long list of accounts. Im not sure if I can mentally take it from this producer and funny enough I have an interview tomorrow as producer from another agency. I’m usually a stoic person I try to understand always from the producer view because it’s there money that they can potentially lose if a client leaves which is the agent in this case and also avoiding an E&O. I really thought coming from retail will be more relaxed environment but it’s not. I feel more pressure maybe because I’m recently engaged my fiance and I are looking at venues and I feel massively underpaid and the amount of workload has me at my wits. I hate making mistakes but I’m human I’m not a robot.
