Modified Idaho killer, main difference is a more available yarn to my area, which comes off more pink.
Tied on a dohiku 644 size 14
Any suggestions for southwestern US? Still need to learn names but I’m getting there
Worm I gotta practice dubbing a little better, and get more neat with my copper wrapping
I’m actually pretty proud of the caddis aside from the hackle length.
Any tips? Kebari pattern, not super happy with how the dubbing turned out and the hackle is clearly too long, but I’m seeing some elements I like to it
I struggle with tying so having something usable even if ugly feels great
Wandered up to the area I was at near blue point, got to see them splash around for hours
