Looking for a roommate and/or apartment share in Venice/Marina Del Rey

Hello world. I’ve been debating a roommate situation as I could use the social aspect, but I’m also looking to save money with the growing costs of everything. My ideal situation would be someone who’s chill and friendly. Someone 35+ due to where we tend to be in our lives. Looking to share a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom in Venice/Marina Del Rey area. Budget would be $2k and under (I’d prefer the cost is more $1,700/$1,800. Washer dyer in unit is a big plus, and I would like something with air control. Secure entry and garage are a must). Also, I’d prefer a woman, but not opposed to living with a man either. I have the furnishings to fill the common areas, but I’m willing to part with some of my furniture. I’m 420 and LBGTQIA+ friendly.

A bit about me: 40F, I’m a clean, chill, nature and food loving ambivert. I work full time (hybrid). I enjoy spending time in the mountains and at the beach. I’m wanting to use my passport and travel more and I’m trying to learn more Spanish. I like my space clean and tidy and typically deep clean weekly/biweekly. I enjoy being social with my friends (and roommates) and I enjoy the downtime as well. I like to cook, DIY and check out new places to eat. I don’t really drink much, but I’m happy to enjoy some cocktails or wine from time to time. I have a well trained cat, and he’s pretty damn chill (he gets a solid round of zoomies 2-3 times a day, but nothing that destroys furniture). He’s adorably fluffy. I groom him weekly to keep fur maintained and nails trimmed, plus I have an automatic litter box to help keep the apartment way less stinky.

I come with a Costco membership and a peloton bike, so I’m happy to share (in case that sweetens the deal)!

My move in date is flexible. Currently living on a month to month lease and I want to take my time finding the right person to share the right space. If you have a room or if you’re interested in finding a place together send me a message with a brief bio and let’s meet up!

Need recommendations for a curly hair (2a - 2c) stylist in WLA

Does anyone have a good curly hair stylist? I have thin, fine wavy hair and would really like some help on styling. My hair seems to be between 2a - 2c. I’m newish to styling my hair wavy, as I’ve typically styled my hair in the blowout fashion. I used to live on the east coast, so it was easier to style with the humidity, but I also used to wash my hair more frequently back then, so trying to stretch my waves to 3-4 days is also a new lesson for me. Some areas of my hair are wavy, and other areas get tighter spirals. I’m also in need of a trim (my trims are super basic, no layers, just medium length thin & fine hair). Anyone the west side of L.A. would be great. I’m also on a budget, and I don’t know what curly specialists typically cost, but I usually pay about $80 for my trims. So something along that budget is good. I’m willing to pay more since this is someone who works with specific hair, but I can’t really afford a significant jump. I’m very new to this, so please let me know what the general costs are these days. Thanks for any help/insight you may have!
