When I open newsletters that contain images, the iOS app loads images very slowly, meaning they are created from
top to bottom piece by piece, like in the slow internet days.
This is however not a device or internet connection issue as the same emails load in Apple Mail without an issue.
Anybody else seeing this?

using iOS app version 7.3.6 I've found that syncing with Simkl does not seem to work properly. By that I mean that the app is not picking up on startup that there was at change that the Simkl side.
Also, trying to sync all Simkl data in Settings - Sync - Reload Simkl data does not finish. All I get is the spinning circle.
Anyone else seeing this?

Back in the day when FM billed everyone in USD, I was able to save some money on the exchange rate. Since FM switched to local currency billing, this advantage seems to be gone.
Or is there a way to pay in a different currency? I’ve seen on the checkout page, you can change the country and get asked for the zip code depending on your choice. Does FM mean that when they talk about my „billing address“ here: https://www.fastmail.help/hc/en-us/articles/1500000277922-Taxes-at-Fastmail
Strictly speaking a country is not an address 😉
I was hoping there was a way to choose a favorable currency but still get taxed correctly, i.e. have different selections for currency and billing address.

currently in the trial phase and I've been trying to send some invites to test accounts at Microsoft and at Mailbox. The invites to Microsoft take forever to actually arrive and updates to invites don't arrive at all.
The invite to Mailbox hasn’t arrived at all.
Are these limitations of trial accounts I see here? They were not mentioned on the trial FAQ page so I was wondering what is actually happening here.
I’ve been comparing several EU‑based email services again, and while Proton Mail looks great in many ways, there are still a few limitations that make it hard for me to adopt it as my main setup.
If Proton offered an option to expose contacts and calendars through standard sync protocols — even without encryption — it would make the service a much better fit for people with similar workflows.
Can anyone recommend a fingerprint reader that works with Cachy and ideally password managers like Proton Pass and 1Password and that doesn’t cost 100 bucks?

I realised today that my monthly email backups stopped working. According to the website the last backup has been created at the end of last month. Still I did not receive any email. Is there a way for me to validate that the backup emails have been sent?

Windows 2016 DC VM on vSphere 8.0.2
Veeam VBR v13 Linux Appliance ISO installation
We‘re currently in the process of migrating backups from Rubrik to Veeam. As we have two DCs, I decided to test Veeam backup with AAP enabled on one of the DCs. However Veeam is unable to backup the DC, stating:
A VSS critical writer has failed. Writer name: [NTDS]. Class ID: [{b2014c9e-8711-4c5c-a5a9-3cf384484757}]. Instance ID: [{ID goes here }]. Writer's state: [VSS_WS_FAILED_AT_POST_SNAPSHOT]. Error code: [0x800423f4].]
Rubrik is able to back up the DC without any issues.
Can there be only one backup tool backup a DC? If so, how can I tell the OS which is the one to be used?
I‘ve already created a ticket with Veeam support which has been ongoing for a month now and a solution does not seem to be in sight so I thought to give it a try and ask here
Edit: I already went through the Veeam KB articles they sent like checking for AV software etc.

My Personal lists have gone missing in the app. This must have happened in a recent update. Anybody else seen this and know a fix? Already created an issue on GitHub because I discovered too late that the devs seem to be more responsive here than on GH ;)
