Certifications

Hi all,

I am currently working in accounts payable and have no desire to pursue a CPA. Even if I did actually my courses are expired and I would have to repeat my undergrad first before the program.

I want out of this job onto a path that has more career growth. What certifications should I look into that will help me land interviews?

I was considered IT certs or supply chain but the latter is $15,000 and no guarantee I’d actually land a job.

CPU or GPU

Hey all!

I just bought the game and have been enjoying act 1.

However I’m running a ryzen 3600 and 1660ti. I’ve been shopping new computer parts lately and was wondering if I should upgrade one or the other.

Which would help my performance in this game? I also play a lot of PoE and that’s a cpu heavy game. I was considered a 5800xt. Any help would be great!

I heard act 3 is really bad on performance.

Bios update gigabyte b450 Aorus Pro Wifi

Hey all,

I want to upgrade from a ryzen 3600 to a ryzen 5800xt. In order to do that, need to update my bios on my b450 Aorus Pro Wifi rev 1.0.

On the website there is a warning under bios version f40 that says before you update to that version you have to install “ec fw update tool.” Here’s the link:

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B450-AORUS-PRO-WIFI-rev-1x/support#Support-Bios

My current bios version is f42a which doesn’t show up on that page. Originally I believe I had this board bios updated to support Ryzen 3000 by someone else.

Am I ok to just update from f42a to the most recent version? I don’t know if I should or not or just wait and buy a new b550 board.

Upgrading cpu should I upgrade psu?

Hi all.

I’m looking to upgrade my cpu from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a ryzen 5 5800xt.

Should I upgrade my psu as well? I have a seasonic focus GX 650 80+ gold in my pc at the moment and it is currently 7 years old at this point.

Other parts are 3 drives (1 nvme ssd, 1 sata ssd, 1 HDD) and 1660ti 6tb.

Would I be safe to continue using it and upgrade down the line?
