We Wrecked Frenchies

This channel breaks down a lot of the issues with unhealthy selective breeding, thought I'd share a video. Definitely check out the video on pugs and persian cats as well, and he also has videos on livestock breeding. Super informative.

I personally think all brachycephalic cat and dog breeds should be banned, and I believe intentionally breeding deformed and unhealthy dogs should be criminalised. It's gross animal cruelty.

Also this is my personal opinion but brachycephalic cats and dogs are not cute, they look deformed and you can literally see their suffering on their face.

Help us find Evan

Victoria Police called on the public to help find missing Belgrave man, Evan Sinclair, after his family made an emotional appeal for information during a media conference on Wednesday, 5 August.

The 24-year-old was last seen leaving his McNicol Road home about midnight on Friday, 31 July.
Evan is described as Caucasian, about 183cm tall, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Acting senior sergeant Ben Aulich said Evan’s distinctive bright yellow 2010 Holden Commodore sedan with black rims was captured on CCTV travelling east on the Princes Highway in the early hours of Saturday before being seen between Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance about 3.30am.
“Since that time, we haven’t been able to locate the vehicle or Evan, and so we’re very much seeking the assistance of the public,” he said.
Evan’s bright yellow Holden bears registration: 1NY2OQ.

“We’re here today to ask people that are one, locals to that area that may have seen the car, or people that are travelling or holidaying in that area, just to keep an eye out in those campgrounds or those more rural locations,” Mr Aulich said.
Evan’s mother, Margaret Sinclair, described her son as “one of the good guys” and said his disappearance was completely out of character.

Anyone who sees Evan or his yellow Holden Commodore, registration 1NY2OQ, is urged to contact Triple Zero (000) immediately or Lilydale Police Station on (03) 9739 2300.

Nutritionally complete additive available in Australia?

Hi, I'm low income and my cat is allergic to a bunch of stuff and has other needs that affect the palatability of his food. Figured it would be cheaper and easier long term for both of us if I just make it myself, because I know what he likes. I also love cooking for him and researching cat nutrition, and he loves being spoiled.

I know there are complete powders available in the US, but it would be hard to get here and likely very expensive. I've seen "supplements" sold in Australia but I don't trust that it's safe or complete, so I'm kind of lost.

Are there any options out there for Australians? I'd just really like to be able to do this as it will save me having to buy the more expensive low ingredient foods that he will actually enjoy/finish.

(nonbinary) Any way to get terminal hairs no T? And oral minox for body hair?

I've been looking into ways to get more body hair in general and I'm wondering what to expect with oral minox. I had a single T injection a few years ago and have the odd terminal hair on my chin but nothing much going on.

Have used it topically before to some success, but only grew vellus hairs as expected. I know oral won't work differently but I'll get terminal hairs on my legs and arms, right...? If anyone has thickened up their body hair with no T let me know.

In the unlikely chance someone knows a way to get any terminal hair growth on my face I'd really appreciate the advice.

Groups I can join fighting against data centers/surveillance

Partner and I are travelling all around Aus but we're in Brisbane/Gold Coast area for the majority of this year.

Wondering if there are any active in-person or online groups specifically dedicated to the fight against data centers, mass surveillance, "anti-AI", etc. Could be Australia wide or Brisbane.

Let me know!

Brunswick residents with mobility devices may soon lose access to public transport - help us prevent this!

Please share this around!

If you live in Melbourne please consider showing up this Saturday to help us push for permanent accessible tram stops on Sydney Road, Brunswick!!!

We really need to make noise this year because the Upfield train line will close for level crossing removal soon, and overburdening our already limited accessible buses & taxis are going to make travelling with wheelchairs, walkers, prams, etc basically impossible. And construction could take up to 18 months.

People are facing up to 18 months without public transport if they use a mobility device.

If you're not a local or you can't make it, you can still help! Please share our Instagram or Facebook posts around, and spread the word! We can't do this without the community.

Sydney Rd tram stops are not accessible, and locals with disabilities are running out of options

Because of the upcoming level crossing removal on the Upfield line, people who can't use the trams are out of options for public transport in the local area. Could take up to 18 months.

Replacement buses and taxis are insufficient, and here's some reasons why:

- Not all buses are wheelchair accessible
- Buses have different accessibility standards depending on bus company and bus model which basically means that not all mobility devices (wheelchair, scooters, walkers etc) can be used in all accessible buses.
- Bus drivers often don't know how to operate ramps because of different accessibility standards within buses.
- Only two wheelchairs or mobility devices can fit in one bus.
- Not all taxis are wheelchair accessible and those who are accessible pick up all passengers, including able bodies, Therefore the availability of accessible taxis is limited and when booking one the waiting time goes from a minimum of 30 minutes to an hour at least.
- Even having accessible taxis on standby won't fix all issues since there is the issue of limiting the number of wheelchairs and mobility devices to 2 per taxi.

If any of this concerns you, there's a campaign you can support that has a rally coming up this weekend.
We're looking for as much support as possible especially with the upcoming construction looming,

The rally is being held this Saturday 18th July, at 11am. Meeting at the corner of Wilson Ave & Sydney Rd.

If you are interested in the campaign but can't make it, connecting online really helps as well. We're trying to drum up as much noise as possible so any comments, reposts, shares etc would help a lot!

Rally for accessible tram stops this Saturday!

Sydney Rd doesn't have any accessible trams! People with wheelchairs, walkers prams, etc are unable to use our local public transport.

We've been waiting for 24 years now for the federal and local governments to step up and follow the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport, and make our public transport systems accessible to everyone.

Now the situation is really dire. The Upfield line will be closed for construction soon, and it means people who can't use the trams will be unable to use public transport here for up to 18 months.

There is a rally happening this Saturday and we need as many people as possible to show up for accessible public transport! Especially if you struggle to get on these inaccessible trams.

This Saturday July 18th, 11am at the corner of Wilson Ave and Sydney Rd. Near Barkly Square.

Any luck lengthening/restoring nail beds?

I'm a bit sad whenever I see other people's nail beds, they extend right to the tip of their fingers. Mine are really short from almost 20 years of picking and ripping.

It's also really inconvenient to have such sort nail beds because they will tear easily and collect dirt really deep. It's not ideal.

Have you managed to gain any length in your nail beds?
