Need insights on installing perimeter drain around old foundation

Hi, for many years my basement has had major water problems during rainy seasons making the whole space unusable for anything but storage (on raised pallets), so I finally decided to repair/replace/install new perimeter drain, but unlike the foundations I have experience with from working in construction it seems my house is so old that when it was poured they only made fourms on the inside leaving the exterior to take the rough shape of the hole that was dug, my question is how can I property waterproof the uneven surface of this foundation? In construction we used dimpled membrane on the foundation walls down to the footer where we laid the perimeter drain but I'm not sure if that way will work with how uneven it is. Anyone encountered this kind of old foundation before? It's only about 3ft deep but I'd like to do it properly if possible.

Warning! Nickel plating wipes right off after evaporust bath!

I've used evaporust for many projects over the years without issue and recently got a nickel plated Belgian gun with a few small spots of rust, so after looking up any potential problems with using it on nickle plating From multiple sources and the horses mouth itself, and finding no examples of any issues decided to put the pieces in overnight so I can then polish and re-plate the rusted spots, now it's looking like I will have to polish and re-plate the whole thing, it seems weird that I couldn't find any other examples of this anywhere since it says specifically that this is the kind of thing evaporust claims to be for and it's not exactly a new untested product, anyone else encounter something like this? Did the algorithm just only show positive experience and bury bad ones?

for your pleasure or chagrin here is a Little amateur project I slapped together to deal with nocturnal rodents

When i found out that rats were pulling chicks from under the hens in the coop, I had a decision to make, buy a modern 22 with rail already mounted, OR buy a tiny $60 drill press at the same time as the cheapest night scope on Alibaba and deck out the old cooey we found in the well shed 20 years ago, as luck has it the rail base stormwerkz makes for the savage rascal fits the contour perfectly, haven't mounted a rail before but I'm satisfied with the outcome for a rushed job,

Anyone here used accurate no2 for large case plinking rounds?

I've been using VV n320 for plinking rounds in my 11mm Mauser but found that while the powder excels in this regard it's higher pressure threshold for clean and consistent burn makes it unsuitable for the low pressure pistol loads I reload for my antiques and I prefer to get powders I can use in multiple guns(imr4064 for 303/30-30/308, accurate no2 for 455 Webley/38special/44special..etc)

AA2 is non position sensitive, easy to meter, clean burning, easy to source and economical. So by all outward appearances seems like a good choice for this endeavor but I haven't seen much data on it and am wondering if I'm overlooking some disqualifying factor?

Tried the striping method in this backyard ballistics video but the part turned copper instead, tried reversing the current Incase that was the issue to same effect, not a huge issue but interested if anyone knows what happened?

Tungsten carbide as weld joint backing

Will be repairing a crack in a machined part where the interior fits a tight fitting pin, my solution to reduce the need to spend thousands of dollars having a new part custom machined is to use a Tungsten carbide pin gauge of the same size as weld backing while repairing the crack.

My question is would GMAW work in this case or do I need a method like Tig or oxy-fuel where the heat source is independent from the material transfer action? I know that TC has a much higher melting point but can't find any solid information on if the arc transfer process will deposit into TC at all or just "float" over it?
