CarPlay adapter connectivity issues

2021 Subaru Forester Touring (does not have built in wireless CarPlay 😩)

Using the Ottocast mini 2025 2-in-1 wireless CarPlay adapter

Sometimes this thing works great! And sometimes I can’t even get it to connect. I don’t unplug or do anything to it. I can get to work in the morning and it worked fine, get in my car to go home and it won’t connect.

Does anyone have recommendations on a better wireless CarPlay adapter or recommendations on how to get this one to function 100% of the time?

Rear DashCam mounting issue

Anyone have problems mounting the rear dash cam because of the textured surface?

Mine was attached for over a year but suddenly I’m having issues, even with new pads.

Should I clean the surface with alcohol or something else and try again?

Suggestions for mounting rear camera to textured surface?

I drive a 2021 Subaru Forster and have a Vantrue E3 camera. It has been installed for over a year but recently the rear camera won’t stay stuck. I’ve tried new 3M pads and still can’t get it. I did order a new set to try (they haven’t arrived yet) but where it mounts is semi-textured. Any advice?

Cracked windshield 2021 Touring with eyesight

Update:
$100 deductible for insurance (State Farm). Got a recommendation for a local windshield company from my dealership. They are doing the replacement and calibration. Insurance requests an aftermarket windshield and then if it doesn’t calibrate insurance will pay for OEM windshield to be installed. Owner of the shop says he’s never had an issue with aftermarket. Getting it replaced on Monday. Thanks or the feedback, everyone!

I’ve had 2 chips in my windshield for a while now and unfortunately one of them ‘grew’ yesterday.

I have read that any vehicles with eyesight need special calibration when new windshields are installed. Is that true?

Anyone in Charlotte NC area have local recommendations on who to use for replacement? Ot if not local to Charlotte any company nationwide that you’ve had a good experience with?

Tomberlin E Merge SS coupe won’t start

Hello!
This thing has been sitting for over 2 years and trying to figure out how to at least get it in neutral so we can move it.

This is my BIL’s cart and all he said was ‘you’re supposed to water the battery every month but we haven’t been doing that’

So honestly I don’t even know where to start 😂

Will charging even help?

Samsung wa40j3000aw/aa tub removal help

I’m trying to remove the tub so I can clean it to remove the debris.

The nut loosened a bit, but now it keeps spinning and won’t come the rest of the way.

It feels like it’s still connected to the clutch assembly, I can feel a little resistance (not sure that’s the right word to use here since it’s all turning in the same direction).

Any tips on how to get the nut off so the whole tub can be removed?
