What’s living in Trinidad really like?

My wife and I have visited Trinidad a few times now and have really dug the town and all the people we’ve met. It seems to have a genuine community feel and that folks are friendly and actually talk to each other. We’ve started to take a more serious look at possibly taking up residence there. I was curious if any of you on this sub might share your candor about life there? Community? Activities? Basic existence needs, home repair, car repair, etc. Ease or difficulty of fitting in/finding your people? Health care? Etc…

Visiting Trinidad advice

Good Morning Trinidad. We will be visiting Trinidad for a few days next week and would love to get to know the town. Are there any spots in particular, or restaurants, or any other suggestions locals might have to suggest for someone brand new to the area? Everything I’ve read on this subreddit make it seem like a cool town. Much thanks in advance!

Outstanding unknown to me N.A.

Not to be too out there, but had this helles to accompany some frog’s legs in 100 degree hot France last week. One of the best I’ve had. Had two just to be sure!

Best crispy wings in Thornton?

Hello T-town! I’m looking for traditional Buffalo style wings in the Thornton area. Seeking truly crispy, not overly sauced, and of course, delicious. Thanks in advance for your recs!

Best N.A. I’ve had to date

Stumbled upon Swinckels 0.0 in Amsterdam. It was without a doubt the tastiest beer I’ve ever had, N.A. or not.

Face value Sugar tic- Denver Aug 11

Due to a necessary total shoulder replacement surgery I must have in late July, I will be unable to attend Sugar at the Mission on Denver, CO on August 11. Im crushed but just will not be in any shape to attend safely. I am asking face value, no a-hole scalper rip off price. I will transfer tic to you. Please DM if interested.

What would you ask?

So a couple years ago I bought a summit and retired my 26” kettle. Was thinking of selling it in the Denver area and was told by unsolicited opinions what I was asking was absurd.($150 Included a pizza oven mod) Granted it’s been used, but has been kept covered the entire time it’s been out of commission. What would you ask?

What ukes do I have?

Aloha,

I inherited this 6 string Kamaka and this custom “electric” uke a few years ago. I’m not really sure what I have or their value? If any of you pros out there know, I’d be most appreciative. I play, but already have my favorites, so I guess I’d like to know where to sell or go for appraisals in general. Thank you for any helpful info in advance.

Some days, it just plain hurts pedaling against the Rocky’s winds, but ends up being worth it in the end.
