Didn’t get the dollar return, but I don’t care. These cards are gorgeous and I love this refractor.

Walked into my LCS earlier and as soon as I step through the door, the one manager calls out “Hey Roose, wanna see something neat?” And points toward the counter where a widow is talking with the owner. I immediately see it in the counter and go “Yoo!!”

It belonged to her late husband. He removed it from a screw down case years ago before getting it graded. I’m assuming that’s why it came back altered. We were able to show her comps and give her advice on where we think she should try to sell and for what price.

Very nice lady, and as a fucking nerd I loved being a part of that conversation and holding such a beautiful card. I wish her luck!
