A bunch of guys in suits at the firm Dodge hired to make a new truck ad really sat around a wooden table and said "you know who would be great for this? The right-wing billionaire fight promoter who beats his wife and chronically underpays his athletes and who just blatantly desecrated America's most iconic monuments! Literally everyone loves this guy, he's definitely not polarizing at all!"

I mean I guess I know who this is being targeted at since it mainly runs on Fox Sports Network, which I watch for Colin Cowherd and First Things First. But it definitely makes me never want to buy a Dodge anything for the rest of my life given that they have no problem making this guy the face of their company.

I’m doing another playthrough of S2 and am determined to get 100% this time. I also made sure to farm 3 double jab runes from the blade bunnies in the North Swallow pass. I gave one to Nanami, but who in your view should get the other two? I was thinking Georg Prime and Viktor, but am interested in everyone’s thoughts. I’m gonna hold off on Riou because he has legit good magic and once I get Tir McDohl a double jab rune would go to waste given their insanely powerful unite attack.

The dentist is just trying to do his work and ask Timothee if he's feeling any pain. Timothee can't stop saying "Kalshi" and the dentist, who is presumably not a degenrate gambler who uses prediction markets to place sick bets on things like California wildfires and whether a kid with cancer will make it (no seriously, look it up), doesn't have a clue what Timothee is saying. Timothee is presumably really excited about leaving the dentist's office so he can put $100 on a three-leg parlay that not only will little Johnny succumb to leukemia and San Luis Obispo will be on fire next month, but that there'll be at least a dozen school shootings in the next academic year. All thanks to prediction markets like Kalshi, which definitely don't need to be regulated in any way whatsoever.

Hope the check from the company that employs Don Jr. as an advisor was worth it, Timothee! I guess the Dune money wasn't enough?

Am I the only one who despises this ad? I know I hated on the Polymarket one with Rick Rubin but I wanted to make sure Kalshi wasn't let off the hook.

Leaving aside the fact that prediction markets are just open invitations for public officials to do corruption and insider trading out in the open, it's even more disappointing to see a music icon like Rick Rubin debase himself to sell a gambling app to rubes as if he's some profound guru. "Will there be peace this year?" Who the fuck knows! Get back in the studio Rick and stick to production. Stop hawking this shit. It's beneath you.

First off, I've noticed that GoDaddy does *not* want you cancelling domain renewals. You literally have to click like 20 different things confirming you don't want to renew. Then they start badgering you with emails every day saying your domain won't be renewed (yes GoDaddy, I know! That's because I cancelled renewal!)

Now, I'm getting emails saying someone wants to contact me about my website, then offering me a how-to guide on listing it for sale. This is, of course, despite me having the domain up for sale for almost 3 years for a very reasonable price (which I discounted twice over the years) with literally no inquiries at all up to that point. Now that I cancelled renewal someone apparently wants to buy it? Yeah I'm not buying that one bit.

Anyone else running into this? BTW for anyone at GoDaddy reading this, no I am *not* going to renew the domain. I feel like this is all part of an elaborate scheme to make sure no one ever lets a renewal lapse.

Title is self-explanatory. I am a Madden noob even though I've followed the NFL for most of my adult life. I'm usually more of an RPG gamer, and play the occasional FPS. But I think I'd like to see what Madden is all about. I have to admit, when reading reviews of Madden 27, it feels pretty intimidating. Is the learning curve pretty steep? Should I start with an earlier Madden to get a feel for it? Any suggestions are appreciated!

I've been hosting Substack lives on a bestselling and fairly popular Substack for a little while now, and turning a live segment into a post that people could read as well as watch used to be as simple as downloading the audio, uploading the audio to a transcription site like Otter, then having that transcript to go off of to write my post. But now it looks like Substack devs went and changed up the entire format of Substack lives in drafts and don't give you the option to download audio.

Substack currently allows you to download the .json or .txt of the transcript itself, but it's effectively unusable. I just want to be able to download audio and have it transcribed myself. Does anyone know how to still do this?

As readers are well aware, Jake and Father Callahan put Black Thirteen in a locker under the World Trade Center, where it would stay until at least 2002. While it's nice to think Black Thirteen didn't survive 9/11, it's also arguably the most powerful magical artifact in the universe and is sentient, and I don't think a skyscraper falling on it would be its end.

Does anyone else think Black Thirteen is still out there somewhere? When the debris was trucked away, did Black Thirteen hide amongst the rubble? Was it eventually discovered by someone?
