I have been playing through the entire Dragon Quest series and wanted to take a look at Chrono Trigger to see if there are any parallels. And I found something worse... I think I like Chrono Trigger more and any DQ game I've played yet.
I have had 2 of my characters ghost/back out of the project at the 11th hour. I am now in need of 2 roles
The first character is Cyrus. Male, late 20's. He should sound charismatic, confident, friendly, but a bit on the deeper side.
A great warrior and best friend of Glenn. Glenn is also a great warrior, but he has no confidence in himself. Cyrus has attempted to tell him that he is a great warrior! Even better than himself! But Glenn refuses to listen. Cyrus should sound caring, but very confident. He's almost got the confidence of a frat boy. Like Disney's Hercules, but with that same level of heart.
In a flashback to their younger days, Cyrus (as a teenager), scares bullies off as they torment a young Glenn.
Cyrus - “Glenn, there are times when a man must stand and face things that trouble him.”
Glenn - “But… it hurts to be hit. I can’t hurt another. Not… not even them…”

The young boy is actually young glenn. Male, 9 to 10 years old. (Likely to be voiced by a female)
He is being bullied by other kids. Thankfully his friend Cyrus comes to his rescue, scaring off the bullies. He should be slightly scared, but more or less sad.
Cyrus - “Glenn, there are times when a man must stand and face things that trouble him.”
Glenn - “But… it hurts to be hit. I can’t hurt another. Not… not even them…”

And then my female character is the magical princess, Schala.
She is the daughter of the Queen of Zeal. A magical kingdom that studies dreams. Things have begun to change as Schala's mother is using the power of a destructive extraterrestrial to power the kingdom now. She has also been acting unusually cruel since beginning this new project. Schala should be graceful and compassionate. She doesn't want to anger anyone, even if it often puts her in less than favorable situations. For voice reference, think Princess Yue from Avatar the Last Airbender.
Schala - You feel the foreboding, too…? Here, keep this close.”
Janus - “What is it?”
Schala - “It’s an amulet containing my prayers. If something should happen, it will keep you safe. I wish that I could remain with you always. But Mother has other plans.” “That’s not our mother! She looks like her, but she’s not the same inside.” *Schala lets out a defeated breath, knowing her brother is right. But doesn’t want him to worry* “Even still… Forgive me, Janus.”

Hello! I am attempting to use an old hand-me-down PC to record 1080p 60fps gameplay from predominantly a Nintendo Switch and PS5. But the gameplay I have been recording has been stuttering. I am using an Elgato HD60S to record from these consoles!
Main question is: Are these specs to weak to handle hour long sessions of recording?
