I was not aware.

Hi everyone! This is my extremely special sea bean! I believe it is genus Mucuna. I found it while on vacation! If you are unaware of what sea beans (also known as drift seeds) are, they are basically any seed that uses ocean currents as its primary method of spreading seeds. Anyways once I was home I started looking for whatever research I could find on them, in hopes of growing it in my college dorm! I wanted to go over some of what I learned, as well as ask for some general tips.

One of the first things I learned I had to do to was score the seed. This was probably the toughest part for me. Mucuna sea beans have particularly hard shells from what I found. I used a small dremel tool to grind away a hole in the shell. It was incredibly thick and difficult to tell if I was deep enough. Most of what I found online said to drill a hole along the dark line (or the hilum) and let sit in fresh water until it swells some, however when I did this, it never ended up swelling, so I took it out. I ended up drilling a second hole between the ends of the hilum, and returned it to the water. This time it swole up significantly in about 3 days! I then planted it. I did use some diluted fertilizer in hopes of getting it started, which I’m questioning was a good move, but after 3 weeks it had sprouted! My aunt had found the exact same species of sea bean, and chose to grow it without fertilizers. Hers took 4 weeks to sprout, so I guess it ended up helping some! After the initial wait for it to sprout, it has really taken off! It has since been 6 weeks since I planted it, and it’s doing pretty good with a height of 1 foot 7 inches!

My question was if anyone had any ideas of whether or not I should be worried about the lack of leaves? I’m thinking it miiiigghhht be starting to get some, because I’m seeing some new buds that look different from the others. The buds so far have just sprouted into more vines. Either way, if these new buds aren’t leaves, does anyone have tips on how I could get leaves to start growing. This sea bean is in the same family as a common green bean, so I’m thinking that methods for green beans might work for this plant too? As stated in the title, this is very experimental for me, and there is very little info on the growth process of sea beans, so any ideas or tips would be awesome, even if it’s not for this specific species!

I honestly don’t know if this one will go solved, lol. I don’t remember a ton about this movie since I only watched it partially one time at a sleepover, so we weren’t really paying attention aside from laughing at particularly bad parts. Watched it back in like 2015-2018 maybe. Pretty sure it wasn’t Dragons: Destiny of Fire. For one, I’m pretty sure all of the dragons stood on all fours, and kinda looked more Spyro-like in design. I also feel like there were more than 2 dragons that the main character interacted with, but I could be wrong. The main character was in fact a dragon. I don’t think there were any humans in the movie up to the point we watched, but they might have come in later or something. I feel like they miiiiiggghhhhtt have been mentioned but idk. Also, up to the point I watched everything had taken place in a kingdom or something. Something more man made.

Plot wise don’t remember much aside from the fact that I think some contest was being held.

The thing I remember best was how the viewer perspective was because I thought I was hilarious. I’ll attach some pictures for reference cause it was hard to explain, but the “camera” would have like 3 angles or so throughout each scene. It would basically go from angle 1 to 3 and then loop back to angle 1. And it wasn’t like it was zooming in on a specific character or anything the angles were just random.

Hi! I added shrimp to my first shrimp tank recently. I’m really hoping to get some babies, but I’m terrible at telling males from females 😭. I know a few are definitely males, but are any of these females? Sorry for the bad pictures. If necessary I can get better ones!

I am ordering live aquatic shrimp, so I don’t want to risk them being in transit any more then they have to be in case any delays cause it to be pushed back and not delivered on Sunday. but the seller says shipping on Friday with one day shipping is ideal. I just thought earlier in the week would be safer, but maybe I’m misunderstanding. The first order was lost in the mail which was very upsetting, but I appreciate them doing what they can. I’d ask the seller but they’ve been relatively inconsistent with their responses, so I’d thought I’d ask here. Anyone know why shipping on Friday would be preferred over earlier in the week? (PS I had sent a message and the beginning of the week asking if they could ship it as early in the week as possible, but I never got a response. I did not ask them right away to ship it the same day I messaged lol! I gave them a heads up of around when I would like it shipped in advance) I also find it strange that this method of shipping only on Fridays is contradicts what their description says. The description states that live animal orders are only shipped Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to avoid the animal spending overnight at a warehouse, which makes much more sense to me. Any advice would be appreciated!

I bought this Triple Whammy tin because the date said 2024, so I was hoping for a more interesting pack selection. I would be more suspicious of it being a reseal, but I bought at dollar general, so I’d be surprised! For one, ive never seen this pack selection in a triple whammy tin, let alone an extra pack! Do you guys think this was a production issue, that pokemon just forgot to update the back of the tin, or what?

So, I ordered on March 11th. I heard orders can take a while so I wasn’t too worried based on the estimated delivery date. But it has passed that date and I’m getting a bit worried. It says she’s printed the label for the package on April 7th, but it hasn’t been put in the mail over a week later. eBay is even letting me write a review since it’s past the delivery date (I haven’t yet tho!) the biggest problem is that I’m on a college campus and in a few more weeks I leave for summer. Since the label is already printed idk if I can change the address. Probably not. I would have shipped it to my house if I had an accurate delivery date 😭. I messaged her a few days ago asking when the order was being shipped, and she said it would be shipped that Thursday, which had me relieved. So I checked several times that Thursday for updates on tracking to say it was in the mail, and nothing. It’s the next day now. I’m waiting a bit to message her again in case USPS is just late on their carrier scan, but that’s unlikely. I heard my school sends packages received over the summer back to the sender, otherwise I would just unfortunately have to wait for the next semester. Has anyone had this happen with her not shipping when she says she will? Any tips?
