i'm reselling on vinted and made 1700€ in 2-3 months

i'm here to share my experience and make it very honest and realistic
i've started reselling on vinted 2-3months ago and to this day, i've made 1700€ minus the purchases on chinese platforms which should be around 300€?

so it's around 1400€ in 2-3 months, 700€ in one month.

it's not much at all. and i'm not looking forward to be a millionaire or incredibly rich from this, but it definitely covers my complete rent. which is nice for me personally

this is not on fulltime, i'm doing this more as kind of a hobby.

i do think it has the potential to scale. but it’s still real work and not some “get rich quick” business.

share your experience or ask me anything

Is PinkyParadise Lenses legitimate?

Hi, I've never worn contact lenses but I really want to and I've been researching a bit and PinkyParadise Lenses seems to be a legitimate website for cosplayers to buy lenses?
Are they high-quality and really safe to use? I dont want to go blind :D
Especially the yearly disposable ones? I feel a bit uneasy with that "yearly disposable" label? Does that really mean that you can use the same pair in a whole year?

Has anyone tried dropshipping on Vinted?

I've been wondering if you could dropship on Vinted by posting the original item pictures and manually pass on the address of the buyer to whatever the item is originally coming from (temu, aliexpress etc.)

Self-hosted website without using Shopify

Instead of using platforms like Shopify or other hosted solutions, I’m considering building and hosting my own website from scratch. The idea would be to program most of the automated processes myself.

Basically, I would act as the seller while suppliers ship directly to customers but the entire website and automation stack would be self-hosted and custom-built, writing own terms and conditions.

Is this possible/legal?
Also Is this business model legal in Germany if all taxes and regulations are handled correctly?

Undamaged item arrived "damaged"

Hello,

I have sold a bundle of three items. There was also a dress in there.
It arrived at the buyer and she sent me pictures of that dress being damaged in the front. There was a very noticeable hole in there.

I personally think, she intentionally cut it in there because when I packaged it, that hole was DEFINITELY not there and I would've noticed it.

I have a whole recording where I package those three items, and in that video I have shown the undamaged items before packaging them. So I have evidence of that hole not being there, when I packaged it.

I don't want to claim yet, that she cut that hole in there herself.
How exactly do I proceed now? Where can I pass on my evidence recording or what would be the smartest thing to do now?
