Most populated BF games in the region?

As the title says, not really sure what's up with Battlefield culture out here. Are BF6 servers the most populated in your experience, at this moment? Does BFV offer a similar experience? My favorite in the series in recent times is BF1 but I'd imagine that's pretty cooked by now.

All responses appreciated!

Action Games

Looking for some action game recommendations. I prefer lesser-mentioned titles; most of what I see shared includes a combination of Hades, Hollow Knight, BoTW, Bananza, etc. and I’ve played through and very much enjoyed all of them.

I thought of this because Darksiders 3 is on sale and it apparently runs at 60fps on Switch 2, yet nobody ever mentions this title. If not for the sale I’d have never even thought to buy it.

What are some action games you can recommend that might spruce up my library? Feels like somethings missing. A friend of mine also recommended Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, which is also on sale.

Looking forward to your responses.

Good faith critiques from a new BF6 player, and long time Battlefield enjoyer.

I love Battlefield. I wasn't there with the OG's playing Battlefield 2 and 1942. But I played 3, 4, 1, and V heavily. I loved Battlefield 1943 as well. I make these critiques in good faith, because like many of you, I care a whole lot about this series. I played and enjoyed the Beta very much long ago, but after finally purchasing the game recently and putting in some good hours, I wanted to share some thoughts. I also don't know what the community's sentiments are so this is my completely unbiased take.

First of all I'd like to say that the game is solid. And sometimes that's all you need. The audio is great, the visuals are gorgeous, the weapon customization is good, the animations are solid, and some maps fit the game's design well.

Hagental Base is probably my favorite map in the game. It's a classic Metro-style chaotic map. The stream of gameplay feels very good on this map. The game absolutely shines here for pure infantry, tug-of-war style fights. Likewise, Siege of Cairo, Cairo Bazaar, Iberian Offensive, Contaminated, and Manhattan Bridge all fit beautifully into the picture. And the matches on those maps carry real weight. Feels like a good ol' frenzy.

However, I think overall the way I can describe my experience so far is that the game feels like it has a lack of "weight" at times, and I think that is ultimately making some matches feel almost empty for me. And this "weight" I refer to is actually what makes Battlefield so enjoyable for me so it's genuinely something I feel is missing. It's like it's lacking girth. Pause, sorry I legit can't find another word lol.

Sometimes the inspiring scale of classic Battlefield feels lost in the mix. This game feels way more CQC-oriented than I think it needs to. Where it works, it works well. But I think that on the more sizable maps I've actually found myself a bit disappointed and quite honestly, bored and confused, because of this.

There's a sort of floaty, infantry kind of pace about the game that just doesn't seem to work on the bigger maps, where action isn't funneled into a space. And I think at times it feels aimless.

And I think this is highlighted with Operation Firestorm. A map that I look back on quite fondly, and is very solid in this entry, but whose design doesn't quite fit the design of this game. Golmud is another, and it's such a great map, but such large parts of it feel so absolutely empty and spaced out that it almost takes away from the Battlefield 6 experience. So ultimately this is a different game, with different gameplay, that needs more maps suited for it. Which brings me to my overall point;

Ultimately it feels like Battlefield 6 lacks an identity. Feels like some of what makes Hagental (and the others I named) feel so good is somewhat and at times entirely lost on some other maps. And it makes for a product that doesn't feel too cohesive. It's like the game is still Battlefield, and it still looks and plays good, but there's just something off about it. They made the gunplay feel very snappy, and the environment looks great on screen, but a lot of times for me the atmosphere of it all is just missing.

And many of you who enjoyed Battlefield 1 as much as I did may understand exactly what I'm trying to say here. Battlefield 1 had the scale, it had the vehicles, the graphics, all of it, but most of all it had weight to it. It FELT good. Battlefield V less so, but some maps made for such an enjoyable blend of chaos that it felt truly seamless. And I think this game, for all it has going for it, genuinely pales in comparison to both of those entries. And they did so much good, so it's a shame. Because especially in my region, Southeast Asia, it's not like I'm spoiled for choice on Battlefield games given that the population metrics don't really carry over like they do in NA and EU. So I'm just going to keep playing this. Because it's good enough.

Are these sentiments often shared here? Can you relate to my thoughts on the game? Is some of my criticism misguided? Looking forward to the responses. Like I said I haven't really looked at the discussion much so as a new member of the Battlefield 6 family I'll definitely start snooping around a lot more.

2020 PC Build Upgrade Advice

I'll try to keep it short. I've recently considered upgrading my CPU or my GPU, possibly both. I've scanned and done some research but feel somewhat out of touch with current demands and parts. Please share some advice in good faith and bear with me.

Current Build:

CPU - RYZEN 7 3700X
GPU - RTX 2070 SUPER

RAM - 32 GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO
Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 32GB (2×16GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 (model CMH32GX4M2E3200C16)

SSD - 1TB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS, 1TB SAMSUNG 990 EVO PLUS

PSU - EVGA 850W GOLD
ASUS TUF X570 PLUS MOTHERBOARD
COOLER MASTER HYPER 212 RGB
CASE - LIAN LI LANCOOL 216

I'm happy with my build. But I can tell it's waning. I recently downloaded Battlefield 6 and want better performance. Not so much better that I have to play at Ultra, the game is well optimized. But I can see where this is heading for any future releases. I play Elden Ring, The Witcher 3 (modded) & Ghost of Tsushima atm. Games like Expedition 33 and Cyberpunk 2077 I've heard might demand more out of my build.

Given the parts I have, I feel I've learned as much that my Motherboard, RAM, PSU, and especially SSD are fine enough. So where do I start, what's within reason, and what's something you think I should probably know? Like I said, I don't need the best of the best. Just meaningful upgrades where it counts, looking for more bang out of my buck.

Any and all bits of advice and information are very heavily appreciated.
