Anybody else have a high icbc driver risk factor score? How have you noticed it impact your premiums?

I recently got into my third at fault accident in 12 years. My driver risk factor score went from a low 0.97 to a 1.31. This now classifies me as a risky driver, which upsets me a lot because I don’t drive reckless, I’ve just had the poor luck of being the last car involved in a couple pile ups which automatically deem me responsible. My second accident of the 3 was a side swipe I unfairly got tied blame to as well.
I was curious to know other people’s scores and whether it caused your insurance to jump substantially? And if you have any advice on getting a lower premium?
I’m aware my insurance will go up. My car was totalled so I’m hoping to find a cheaper vehicle that may not cost as much to insure. Besides that, I’m just not sure what else I can do to prevent my insurance from being too high for me to afford.
Also, I do take accountability for poor driving habits I’ve picked up on over the past few years. I am not someone who drives reckless, but I do have some poor habits I will change and lock into going forward.

Driving anxiety after 3 accidents in 8 years

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anybody here has some advice or past experience they could share over driving anxiety. I am almost 30 years old, have been driving for 12 years and have had 3 crashes since. My first crash was 8 years ago, second one ( very minor) was 3 years ago, and I recently had one just last week.
My insurance provider has found me at fault for all 3. Before anybody assumes I am a poor driver, I unfortunately have just had some bad luck with being involved in two 5 car pile ups, and since I’ve been the last car in the line involved for both, my insurance ultimately seems me at fault based on that.
Anyways, due to my driving history now being not very great, my insurance has gone up about $1000 for the year. I genuinely feel an intense amount of anxiety about this. I feel like if I get myself into anymore accidents, my insurance will be too much for me to afford. I live in BC, Canada and have ICBC as my insurance company. They are not known for being fair.

Besides being aware of ways I can change my driving habits, and working on being better in that sense, how would others here with similar feelings or experiences deal with the way I’m feeling? I feel ridiculous being so anxious to do something I’ve been doing for 12 years now. And in the grand scheme of things, 12 years is a long time. But yet I feel like I’m now starting off as a brand new driver again with those same nerves.

Question for first time home buyers

Hey everyone!
I got a question for those who are first time home buyers and recently purchased a home.
I know that within the past year or so, the GST rebate that comes with that of being a first time home buyer was increased from purchasing a property that was 450k or less to under I think 1 or 1.5 million.

For those of you who qualified, did you have to pay this 5% GST upfront and then apply for the rebate after, or was it automatically granted?
I purchased a presale condo in April of last year and when I close on it in 2028, I want to know if I should prepare to have that tax ready to cough up if needed.
Unfortunately the agreement my developer gave me was worded very confusing.

Is it true we are still expecting retropay on overtime?

There’s a rumour floating around my workplace that we still are due to get paid retropay on all overtime worked through the last year between when our contract expired and our new one began. Is this true?

I’ve noticed specifically in Brookswood or Willowbrook mall area I get no phone service, or if so, very poor service. It feels random because it’s such a central area. Anyone else? It’s making me want to switch providers.
