Just replaced my valve cover gasket and its not sitting flush around the whole cover is this normal
There is no debris in the cracks where the gasket sits

Took off valve cover how screwed am i?
Doing my valve cover gaskets for the first time im no mechanic but im sure this is way worse than normal? Whats the best way to remove some of this hardened sludge without damaging anything

Going to remove the valve cover on my bmw 325i 2004 to replace the seals and grommets whats the best way to remove all the baked on sludge inside
While I have the valve cover off I wanted to get the sludge out without messing anything up like the vanos? Any ideas

I juat cleared my adaptations on my foxwell scanner and this happened
The car started idling rough and I noticed my coolant temp started to rise went under the hood and noticed my cap wasn't screwed down all the way so all the coolant leaked out from the short drive to work I think I caught it in time where nothing cracked or exploded what do I do now?

I cannot figure this out I have some kind of oily green substance leaking some where from my car towards the front
I didnt think bmw had any green fluid in it atleast the e46s. I just redid my intake manifold hoses gaskets ect and noticed this when I backed out of my spot any ideas

Did preventative maintenence on intake manifold ccv valve and throttle body. Now my car makes this wheezing noise?
It only makes this noise when the ac is in and it never happened before until I did the maintenance . What could it be? As soon as I shut off the ac it goes away

After doing some work on the throttle body and ccv valve I noticed this small area of green fluid on the floor? Any ideas
Its a small area and this small liquid area would have come from the front of the car. Should I be concerned?

Car hesitating after re installing intake manifold help
So i just replaced the manifold gasket all the ccv hoses as well as the ccv and the throttle body gasket and i cleaned out the idle control valve with throttle body cleaner. When i took out the throttle body I made the mistake of opening and closing the throttle plate twice which probably messed up the calibration. I did recalibrate it after re assembling everything with the key in position 2.. I drove the car around for 30 mins no issue and then I noticed slight hesitation when accelerating and at idle the cars coolant temp would reach 105 then drop back down to around 98 what could be the issue?

Where does this hose on the bottom of the ccv valve connect to in the engine bay
I cannot figure out where this hose connects to because theres no clip or anything on the bottom end of the hose

Im doing a diy re install of my intake manifold and I dont see a secondary airpump shown in photos
So im watching a video on how to replace the manifold and this guy has a secondary air pump hard line? My manifold doesnt have that hose with the white thing is this normal?

Took out my throttle body for the first time and fucked with the throttle plate.
So not knowing i pushed the throttle plate open and closed twice. Did I just fuck up the throttle body? Will it still be calibrated?
