Need help in evaluating this quote in hyderabad

Hi all, I'm doing interiors for my 3BHK in Hyderabad and have my first quote (image attached, details hidden). It covers a TV unit, 3 wardrobes, a modular kitchen and some misc works.

I'd really appreciate advice on:

  1. What questions should I ask the designer before finalizing?

  2. What should I keep in mind while reading a quote like this?

  3. What hidden costs or add-ons do people usually get hit with later?

  4. What should be written into the contract?

  5. How do I make sure the materials I'm promised are what actually gets installed?

  6. Any red flags or negotiation tips from your own experience?

Also happy to hear any mistakes you made on your own projects so I can avoid them.

Shadab cafe vs Niloufer

Recently, I visited Shadab Cafe near AIG. In terms of the products and overall offering, I found it to be quite competitive with Niloufer. However, when it comes to hospitality and staff behaviour, I felt there was a significant difference.

The staff’s behaviour came across as quite rude. There were unnecessary restrictions, such as not allowing customers to sit at separate tables for the café and food sections. When I asked for a no-sugar option, the response from the staff was also unnecessarily rude and unhelpful.

What’s your opinion? Have you had a similar experience at Shadab Cafe?
