New Axe 🎸

I recently purchased this Special Double Cutaway with P90s. As a teenager, this was my first electric guitar. I even still have the original Guitar Center tag somewhere, carefully preserved.
Back then, I couldn’t fully appreciate what I had, and sold it. Twenty five years later, I couldn’t resist getting another one alongside my black modified Custom. Tempted by a long list of Epiphones, but they all had Humbuckers and for me that was other packaging for the same tone, so P90 was a logical option.
BTW, The NOTADÜMBLË preamp paired with the Cab X2 sounds fantastic. I can get a great overdriven tone from the NOTADÜMBLË’s gain stage, or go completely wild with the Noise Gated Russian Big Muff, using the Haunting Mids to tighten everything up. Ufff.

SOB Mid 2026

OK, this is my current SOB and the magic is to record from it, this is a DIY hinged board, so it lifts to access power and cabling, and the signal chain goes like this: I am using the RAT in a low gain setting and really open filter to push and tight the overdrive preamp or the Jumbo Fuzz, this is after the noise gate, take a sample of the noiseless signal, this goes to the amplifier selector with a JHS switchback, when it returns, it goes to the noise gate, then the parametric equalizer, then the Juliana and Space Echo, at last the NUX SS MKII.
Amps are Marshall VS102R with a ECC83s swapped tube for better gain control or the Victory Kraken V4. Passive EMG H4 and H4A passive pickups on a Modern Epiphone LP

Realm Of Chaos- Bolt Thrower

Blind bought Realm of Chaos after seeing it recommended everywhere and hearing it described as a death metal classic. This is my first Bolt Thrower album and I’ve been spending a few days with it on vinyl.
For longtime fans: what do you think about the production and mix on this record? What works, what doesn’t, and how does it compare to the rest of their catalog?
Also, where should I go next after Realm of Chaos?

Middle Finger Certified Bass Board

Please explain why this should sound terrible.

Because it doesn’t.

This is now my recommendation for a beginner bass pedalboard.

And I want more

These W217h shape of Casio watches are so cool, got green first, then the Herren A…. And I like the other camo version too. For me are the perfect watch.

A bone for y’all dogs

I’ve been challenging myself to reach the bare minimum without sacrificing tone, aggression, or sound quality, and not using a multi-effect unit. This little open, raspy, 3D-printed chugger makes this metalhead smile, and it even has a crazy reverb ready whenever I need to open the gates of the madhouse.
Let’s see if y’all can tear the meat off this one.

I lost it, but found it

SOTB May/June 26. Tuner, BC-1X, LS-2 (Green Russian), ReVolt Bass (Send to Chorus, Harmonic Booster, CabX2 (Hartke XL410) to Return). Direct to interface.
Not economically worth it.
Not sonically revolutionary.
Not practical.
But I don’t mind any of that. It makes me want to play every time I see it.

The corner of my eye got this and the game has actually changed me. Took a picture and thought… a hideout nearby… good weapons maybe…

Got tired of option paralysis so I built this to A B everything, using a JHS Switchback and Red Remote.

Chain is tuner, DS 2, Doomsaw, JHS Overdrive Preamp, Orange Terror Stamp, PMEQ, chorus, RE 2, NUX Solid Studio (this one has a Reverb, EQ, and amps if I need them).

Point is tight, defined, aggressive tones, minimal.

Trying to avoid a bigger board and cut redundancy instead of adding more pedals.

Curious about what you think.
