Deposit dispute — management ghosted me after I disputed charges [FL]
I moved out in February from an apartment in Florida. My deposit was twenty-eight hundred dollars. Management sent me a list of charges that were absolutely ridiculous, replacing the entire microwave, not oiling the sliding balcony doors, stuff like that. After deductions, they’re keeping almost everything and offering me back less than a hundred dollars.
I emailed them disputing the charges and saying I’m willing to cover legitimate stuff, but this felt unreasonable. Never heard back. Complete radio silence for months now. It’s June.
I don’t have the money to sue, but two grand eight hundred is also not nothing. I’m frustrated and honestly not sure what my options even are, especially in Florida which doesn’t exactly favor renters. Has anyone dealt with this? What did you do? Am I just supposed to let this go?

I’ve posted before about our chants but truly it’s just the energy we have. Even the most basic chant gets elevated when people really are locked in. I want to have this kind of insanity for the next World Cup.
