Hello everyone, this is probably the first time I’ve been genuinely disappointed by a game I was really looking forward to. I’m posting this to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.
My biggest issue is the quest design and how easy it is to accidentally soft-lock yourself if you don’t already know the game or constantly look things up online.
The game rarely makes it clear when you’re about to reach a point of no return or when progressing a quest will permanently lock you out of content. If you don’t know these moments in advance, you can miss entire questlines, trainers, or rewards.
For example, I wanted to play as a Fire Mage. What I didn’t know was that after a certain point, Corristo is unavailable and you permanently lose the ability to learn higher Circles of Magic from him or buy the High Fire Mage robes. I only found this out after the fact. I even spent two full days clearing almost every creature on the map, trying to gain enough levels and Learning Points to reach Circle 4 before that happened.
There are other examples as well. You can visit Xardas’ Tower long before the story sends you there, or try to enter Quentin’s Camp early, but instead of receiving a clear explanation or the quest, you’re simply blocked or attacked. It often feels like exploring the world in the “wrong” order can unintentionally break quest progression, which is the opposite of what I expect from an open-world RPG. The game does not show the quest location exactly on a map so you have to explore.
Another frustrating moment happened in Chapter 4. I intentionally decided to finish side quests before continuing the main story because I was worried about getting locked out of them. One of those quests required finding the Temple of Innos, so I explored the Old Mine looking for the entrance. After searching for a long time, I finally gave up and checked online, only to discover that you actually need the Climbing skill to reach it. There was nothing in the game that made this obvious. Without Googling it, how was I supposed to know?
My only regret is that I can no longer refund the game.
TL;DR: The game has too many hidden points of no return and permanently missable content without warning. If you don’t already know the original Gothic or constantly use guides, it’s very easy to soft-lock yourself out of quests, trainers, and important progression simply by exploring or advancing the story naturally.
Hi guys I came here for an advice as I am getting frustrated.
I own landxcape lx790 and recently got this garage for my mower. I know that it’s not the most ideal set up to have it in the corner like this but before I had it in even worse position and it worked just fine.
Could you please suggest some ideas on how to set up the boundary wire? I feel like I tried everything possible but somehow this mower sometimes decides to absolutely ignore the wire and gets stuck inside.
Práci by obetovali aj dušu a chcú to niekam dotiahnuť.
2. Skupina
Druhá skupina je taká, že si prácu porobí, avšak nechce sa pretrhnúť. Majú iné priority a do práce chodia len odrobiť si to, čo majú, a idú domov.
3. Skupina
Do ktorej skupiny patríte? Myslíte si, že tí, čo sa snažia, to reálne niekam dotiahnu, alebo stačí byť v skupine č. 3 a vedieť sa vtierať šéfovi? Alebo sa im to raz vypomstilo? Aké sú vaše názory?
