Questions about audio

How do you do voices for your different characters? Do you pay voice actors or something?

Would you play VNs without sound?

Asking because I’m deaf.

Faded UI Text

My monitor resolution is set at 1920x1200. My NVIIDA RTX 2080 ti driver is up to date.

I know most may have no problem reading it, but I don't have perfect vision and some parts i can't read at all.

But the text on some UIs like Unity's and Photoshop's is so hard to read. Kid of like trying to read a 10,000 year old book with faded ink. Most of my other programs don't have this issue.

Any idea why or how to fix? My eyes and head hurt. lol

Is there a better way to do this?

New RenPy guy here and have a couple questions.

I want to build a kids game for a mental health company. It won’t be an entirely big game, but I feel like it might as well be twice as big because I want the player to be able to red to choose between a male and female character. My experience with RenPy games is very limited, but the way iunderstand how you make them is, you render out a shit ton of images for every possible path the story could take. So, I’d be rendering the ssme scenes twice—once for male and once for female.

Is that right? Or is there a better way?

Will likely be in 3D.

So, I'm signing up on a website. I put in all my info, piece of cake. I hit "Create Account"...BOOM! It's a damn CAPTCHA. One I've never seen before It says "Click the icon the icon that breaks the pattern." Okah, so you're gonna visually challenge a visually challenged/legally blind guy who can't use the audio feature because he's also deaf? Well, screw you too!

This one?

Wrong.

This one?

Wrong.

This freaking one?

Wrong

"Damn! Hey! Anyone with better eyeballs here ? No? Fuck it!"

So, I spend the next hour tryingt to show Captain Captcha what blind guys are made of. A whole hour. For a simple challenge. Talk about tenacity!

This one?

Correct.

Hell yeah, baby! Eat that, shir your pants, and watche get laid!

The screen says "Good job! Let's confirm you're human."

Wait, what? Didn't I already? Well, I just single-handed the mighty Captain Captcha, so this should be a breeze. Like, just a checkbo next to a thing thqt says "I'm not a robot." No probs, shishkabobs.

I click on "Begin" and...BOOM!

"Please select all the buckets."

Oh hell NO!

Captain Captcha is back! And hes meaner than ever!

“Please select all the hats.”

“Please select all the buckets.”

“What's wrong, O mighty blind one? Ant see vrry well? Please select all the beds.”

Remember that thing about tenacity? Well, I spent even longer...and failed.

I later enlisted the aid of a granny. She knocked it out in undera minute.

Fuck CAPTCHA!

The end.

I want to use Meshy to create animatable characters, but I'm worried about a couple things:

1., Inner mouths. If I create a character., does it create an inner mouth Eve though the mouth is shut? Like, wouldi be able to do a face rig in a 3D program, or is the tongue welded to the teeth, the lips sealed together, and the eyelids immovable?

  1. Dangly parts. Say I generate a character with long dangly ears. Would I be able to rig thdm for movement or would they be fused to the shoulders?
