After 8 months of lifting this shirt fits a lot better!

I started lifting in November 2025. Before that, I was a distance runner who also struggled to eat enough. For the last eight months, I’ve been eating, tracking protein, and lifting like crazy.

So far, I’ve been primarily focused on my upper body because it was so out of sync with my legs. I plan to incorporate legs into my workouts eventually, but am very pleased with my upper body progress. I do 2+ dedicated arm days per week (6 days lifting) and my arms have really popped. These sleeves that were once loose are now snug. I think the biggest change is my shoulders, though.

Finally found a picture of me at my smallest (2023/27). Would be shocked to see myself at 30!

Feeling proud of my progress.

I cannot believe this is my arm. It’s still not big by any means, but I’ve always had the smallest arms in the room (including 90% of my girls). Six months of dedicated arm days have finally changed that. Can’t wait to keep pushing.

I can’t believe I’ve gained nearly 50lbs. At one point that would’ve sent me into a spiral. Now I feel proud. Trying to eat 2,500-3,000 calories per day. 150-200g of protein. Lifting 6 days per week with heavy focus on upper body.
