Am I being throttled?

Hi all,

I know there is recent troubles with downloading content, so I understand this my problem could due to that. I haven’t used a VPN until today (I know, I know). Recently I was downloading a lot of PS3 titles, and noticed my speeds drastically reduced from 3 minute wait times towards 45 minutes. Since using a vpn my wait times are back at sub 5 minutes, when I turn it off it hikes back up towards 30 minutes+. Is it a fair assumption that my ISP is throttling me on this website?

Advice? 29m 75k/yr

This is my 3Y, I’m curious to know if this is a good spot for 29m, 75k/yr. Im contributing about 7% and my employer matches 4%. My employer also grants me 3k rsu per year. In addition to this I auto defer 10% yearly income into an employee stock plan, despite our company’s stock not doing the best, I still make 15% return with the stock discount they offer. This picture does not include 8k in RSU/auto defer.

Is this decent for 29 yrs old, I’m aware that it could always be better/worse. I started this a bit late, around 4 years ago. Only recently have I become more aware of goal oriented about it.

I’m losing my mind.

Hi all, I’ve been fiddling with PCSX2 setup for about a week. I’ve scoured the web to try to find help before resorting to a reddit post. I obtained a bios file, but during setup, the wizard cannot detect the file in the bios folder that I made. I’m including a screenshot to show what’s going on. Hopefully some advice from one of you experts will be helpful.

UPDATE YALL: Pointed out by a very helpful redditor, I was loading a PSX bios. /facepalm
Thank you for the array of ideas!

FTD - Positive

This subreddit has made me grateful, and has helped me put the struggles of our NB into perspective. I’m not here to gloat, but I did find comfort in our problems, after reading the problems of others. Sometimes I think our problems (as new parents, not just me but “us” as society) might be a problem of perspective and lack of exposure to others with NBs. Overall, I’m grateful to know that the obstacles we face could always be worse— this helps me reconcile when things don’t go as planned.

I pray that everyone reading who is struggling can create hope, and remember they’re only little once — cherish what you can.

PS3/360 Emulation

What is the state of emulation for ps3/360? Are there handhelds I could get to play games on those consoles? Seems like from my POV the emulation might be muddy for those.

Ayn Thor Max

Recently preordered batch 7 max 1TB. I’m excited for my shipment to arrive, as I’m waiting I’m doing the necessary research to understand how to set it up. My question, which handhelds would be able to appropriately emulate ps3/360?

Advice?

I have the v6plus — today I turned it on and the screen was cut off like this. Factory reset the device, no luck, now I cannot see the keyboard to enter wifi password and finish set up. What could be the problem?

Diablo 1/2

Preordered a batch 7 1 tb max. I want to get in before the inevitable price hikes next year. Will the path Thor have any capacity to run Diablo or Diablo 1 games?

Hearing my baby cry doesn’t make me feel bad.

First time dad, 1 month old newborn is pretty well behaved imo. She cries and screams but it never really phases me. Sometimes I feel guilty when I recognize that it does not affect me as it does my partner. I can see the distress it causes my partner, but I never feel that way. I work in an environment where children throwing fits can be a norm, therefore I’ve learned to become immune to it. I will also note that when the baby does things that are cute, my heart definitely flutters, it’s only the negative things I feel immune towards.

Does this indicate something is wrong with me?

Beginner Stack Recommendation

Turning thirty this year, my wife just had a baby three weeks ago, and longevity/health has been on my mind ever since. Have been doing light research on popular stacks for people my age, and I found a few brands I can use my HSA funds towards. My goal is healthy aging, I know that supplements without exercise won’t make big differences— I plan to exercise a few times a week once I get back to work. Final note: I take 20mg Omeprazole once daily, have heard b12 is usually in deficiency due to PPI interactions. I’m excited to hear opinions!

New to tinned fish. Please give advice!

See that fish wife gets a lot of hate, so far that is the only brand I’ve had. I’ve had smoked mackerel, smoked salmon, and smoked rainbow trout. The quality of the meat seemed very good across these three options, but the price is rather expensive. Does anybody have any good recommendations for these types of fish? I’m looking for options that blend quality and cost, maybe like a middle class of tinned fish (all the example that fish wife would be high class, again I know there’s a lot of hate for this brand.)
