So I might be slightly addicted to a dungeons and dragons AU... it's actually slightly different than dungeons and dragons but it's easier to call it a DND AU.

I already made like a bunch of doodles for it but I'm trying to chill out on posting on thus sub too much lol. But honestly you might be seeing a lot more dnd stuff from me because I am newly fixated on this.

Noelle is a false dragon (True Dragons are basically Gods in this setting) so she is blessed with incredible magic and the ability to learn pretty much any kind of magic! She basically min-maxxed her stats since her race an regenerate MP for free. She can cast at incredible power.... but she barely has any MP. If she casts above her MP level, it takes away some of her HP, and magic classes without MP can't move and collapse from exhaustion unless they get their MP back...

Her teammates are suffering.

Ok, I get that I am being hypocritical because I draw a ton of uwu cute dragon stuff... and also, this doesn't apply to every dragon of course because some people do like to draw their dragons as basically big mythical cats which is 100% valid and ok.

BUT AHHHH NOELLE IS NOT A BIG CAT! SHE IS A DRAGON!!! A FIERCE DRAGON!!!! Don't demean the likes of dragons, they are their own seperate awesome thing, not just cats! >:(

I was debating whether or not to add the saliva ngl, you know the images of like snarling animals with spittle and stuff? I kinda wanted to draw that to make her look more fierce, but people can be very freaking weird if you add saliva to a dragon mouth :/ But ultimately I kinda just want to normalize like... growling dragons and spittle in an actual fierce normal way so I'm just gonna include it and hope that people won't be weird with it >-<

Happy August 15, aka kagepro day! I know it's a bit of an overexaggerated thing, but Kagerou Project is genuinely one of the most important things in my life. No other songs have touched my soul and life deeply like this series, and the stories told by these songs have sat in my heart forever. The songs have sat with me through happiness, and comforted my heart through sadness. It's such an incredibly important thing to me...

So I wanted to wish it a happy 15th anniversary, and showcase some art of Noelle as Ayano, my favorite kagepro character.

The urge to loredump for 2 hours making an entire writeup about her character and the story behind this is so strong, but it would be a crime to spoil everything haha

I really need to get more art or draw more art of canonical Noelle, instead of just me super imposed onto her. I mean, technically this isn't canon because the grass under her is still alive, but shh!!!

One thing that I should 100% draw more but hadn't really had the time to properly explore it is Noelle's color. Her default is her blue, but her fur changes color and gains different traits depending on her emotions. (And no, she cannot control it!) When she is feeling soft emotional feelings, like melancholy, she gets little snow-like speckles on her fur that glow softly. When she feels strong emotional feelings, like wretchedness, she gains a purple tingle to her fur. Both of those traits can mix and match and wane! And no, she cannot control these traits.

I wonder what she's thinking about in this image?

The artist SonyShock did such a wonderful job with her, I'm literally so much in awe over this wonderful piece. He perfectly captured her vibrant color hues, and the little speckles of snow falling around her just makes me so happy. I seriously adore this so much ;-;

I was taking a small break from this sub until I could recover from something that happened recently... and honestly I thought it would take me longer to get over it but I'm already pretty much feeling totally better lol. There are too many good things to focus in life than dwell on bad things that are out of my control lol.

Also, everything in this hoard is legitimately something I own AHAHAHAHA. Actually piecing this together took me longer than the drawing itself... And hey, all of these items are totally priceless! It's an extremely valuable hoard- everyone calling it junk just doesn't understand true value and I am going to eat them.

I made this for my mh4u friends like literally EONS ago and found the file again so I figured that I would post it here as well LOL

Forgive me if I don't type very well, I'm just typing off the top of my head and I stayed up til 3am making this so I'm very tired right now.

I'm sure the vast majority of you have not seen the announcement that u/awesthedragon made, but he's a moderator here that's stepping down because his health is in rough shape, and his treatment is not going very well. I know about the cliche about redditor mods being cringe and all that, and so some of you might be thinking: "Ok why should I care?" But as a friend of his who constantly sees the amount of work he puts into this subreddit, I just wish for you guys to know at least a little bit about him.

I'm sure that you all think that this subreddit is a pretty fun and cool place, right? A lot of it can be attributed to him. One of the best parts about this subreddit is that so many artists can have their works be seen- on other social media you kinda have to prostrate yourself to the algorithm Gods, so that you might have a morsel of attention. A lot of you guys don't know this, but he really cares about every single artwork that you guys make here- even the beginners. We've had so many conversations together about what we could do to get other people's works to be seen when they are drowned out and don't have a lot of attention on this subreddit. I've seen him encourage and talk to so many artists and people on here, and part of the reason why this subreddit is so safe and clean is because he's just constantly on it sniping all of the bad stuff.

I read every single comment (even if I don't respond to all), and there are times where I get like... super weird or mean comments lol. I don't report them, I just ignore them because who cares. But when I go back to read some comments when I have free time, sometimes I see some little traction rude comments get removed by a moderator, even though I never brought it to his attention. I've seen this happen in other posts that aren't even mine as well. He's honestly really thoughtful of people's emotions and how to protect their feelings. I remember one time he predicted my reaction to something and I was like "Hey!!! I mean, you're right, but hey!!!! I'm not that easy to read!" (...turns out I am...)

Even the silly little jokes on this subreddit that you see pop off now and then! A lot of the time he's also the cause of many silly little things that happen here, even though you might not know it lol. I've said it before that this place feels like a community, and a lot of it is just because of the love that the moderators have for this place. They genuinely work hard to make this place kinda feel like a home for people to post and just... I dunno, just feel each others hearts. (I know that sounds cheesy as hell but I genuinely believe this).

And I've talked about what he has done for the subreddit because that's what you guys probably care about hehe, but if you can allow me to just talk a little bit about who he is as well... He's truly a dragon at heart. I wish I could show you just how connected he is with his feelings, and the feelings of others. He might seem serious at first, but if you talk to him more you can see how much of a goofball he can be. He doesn't think fur belongs on dragons but I feel like I have wiggled into his heart a little.... I say, but he keeps threatening to shave me lol. Honestly, whenever I feel like ranting to someone and into the void, he's always been there to lend an ear, and his thoughts. He's seriously a really sweet person, and he's really good at reading people. You know the kind of person who is like... not super known because they always try to help people and encourage them from the shadows, and then kinda sit back happy at what they did even if people don't notice what they have done? That's literally the kind of person he is.

He's trying to be humble, but I think he should be a bit more greedy like the dragon he is. He really did build up this place to be what it is currently, so I hope that he can be recognized a little bit for his legacy. I hope that you can all wish him good health, and I desperately pray this this is not a true goodbye, but a see you later.

This is getting to be really long now, so I just want to say that we all love you Tess. Thank you for just... literally thank you for everything you have done. And thank you for being my friend. Well you still are my friend. You better not go away lol. Once you're in my draconic little hoard, you stay there forever.

I hope you all can wish him well, and for his treatment.

I normally don't dual-post twice in one day but I figured I should post this before people get sick of seeing the subreddit dragon here HAHAHAHA (I made this like 2 weeks ago actually, I wasn't going to post it but people have been asking about it so here.)

Have you guys noticed the new awesome animated icon next to the subreddit name??? So, a while back I noticed that we had a sunglasses snoo next to this subreddit name. I have no idea if it has always been there and I just never noticed because I am dumb, or if it came with a new update. I was using desktop for reddit (which I usually never do) and was scrolling the subreddit and BAM. There was a filthy non-dragon next to the subreddit?! Why??? Omg it drove me insane.

I literally begged the mods to change it to the subreddit dragon or something because it would just be way cooler. And offered to make something for it. I saw another subreddit with an animated icon next to it's name after researching reddit emotes and I thought it would be the coolest thing ever??? And so, this drawing was born...

...Except we couldn't get it to work lmao. I was so devastated you don't even know AHAHAHAHA. The mods ended up using a random emoji we made for the r/dragons official discord server as a placeholder until we could figure out how to get the animated one to work. Then the r/dragons discord server opened up and someone there actually managed to figure it out like the absolute LEGEND they are?! So now we have a super cool animated icon next to r/dragons !!!! I am so happy like doesn't the sub feel way cooler and more special now? I literally don't see that many subs with an animated icon next to the name!!! Or like, even an emote next to the name in general. Seriously was this a new update or was I literally just forever blind lol.

Anyway sorry for the ramble! I just was so excited for this lol. The animation is actually super scuffed, I made it super fast but I figured the weirdness and the bad-scribbly nature of the icon would not be noticeable if it's super small, so blown up like this you will probably see how rushed and dummy it looks. Oops. Still cool though... right?

First comic featuring my little brother! My biggest accomplishment in life is the fact that he specifically wished to have a fluffy dragon represent him. I couldn't be more proud...
