Hey, notice some interesting texture on this art piece? That's because I sketched it in traditional art, and then colored it digitally! It is a bit harder because you can't actually paint bucket tool this way because of the texture so I had to color everything manually... but I really enjoy drawing traditionally so I am definitely doing this more!

Also Eval wants to give Eval some glasses, what do you guys think? I think it is genuinely super cute!!! <:0

Hi! Sorry first post here, was told to come here to help identify birds.

I saw this bird the other day and I was so enraptured by it's silliness I forgot to take a picture of it before it flew away, I drew it from memory so the pattern/colors may not be exact.

It was really silly and rotund looking, and I am not joking but it looked like it was smiling with it's beak. It's movements were super jerky and it hopped everywhere on a tree and would not stop moving at all- it looked like it always wanted to move?

The birdsong stood out to me in particular because all of the other birds around where I live have beautiful chirps but this one sounded so scrunkly. It was like "ahh ahhh ahhh" but like with a goofy voice. It would also call/repeat it a lot instead of at once.

Please help I swear I am not delusional but I totally fell in love with that bird and would really love to know the name of it.

...Well, it's actually past his birthday. Shhh!

"Eagles can fly"

Normally I do not post my doodles here at all (it feels kimda low quality sob ;-;), especially not when I draw chibi Noelle because she doesn't really look dragon-y enough to post here by my own standards haha. But I think the ending makes up for it?

So, this is based off of the poem "Eagles can fly" by Natsuki from DDLC, and her poems are honestly some of my favorites in that game. I don't know why, but there is something about this particular poem that just carves out my heart a little. The fact that it is such a whimsical, simple poem that reads out so child-like, only to be hit with a dose of adult reality at the very end- an abrupt and disappointing end. There's something that really stuck with me... I was listening to the DDLC soundtrack and was just hit with the urge to draw this.

There was one change to this poem- the "I" can try. I think that Natsuki's original line, which is "People can try", fits the poem a lot better and it flows better with the poem rather than the "I" which is so different from the other animals that it kind of breaks the flow of the poem and makes the ending a lot less abrupt. However.... Noelle is a dragon. And I truly believe dragons can do anything. So putting something like "dragons can try" doesn't make any sense to me, so I had to replace it with "I" which I think makes the poem worse, so I am sorry Natsuki.

I really love this poem so much. It makes me want to try writing my own poetry. But you guys can have this for now.

You guys have genuinely been so wonderful to me ;-; thank you so much for supporting me and my art in this sub ;-; I am honestly so grateful that I discovered this sub. Not only is it just such a joy to post here, but I really love this community and seeing all of the wonderful art you guys have posted yourself in this sub! Honestly after seeing people dub my comics for years, I've really wanted to dub my own comics but I never did it because I was way too shy and I feel like it would be cringe... and I finally did it! And yes, it turned out being cringe, but also I had a lot of fun making it so I might do some more! So I might be slightly addicted to a dungeons and dragons AU... it's actually slightly different than dungeons and dragons but it's easier to call it a DND AU.

I already made like a bunch of doodles for it but I'm trying to chill out on posting on thus sub too much lol. But honestly you might be seeing a lot more dnd stuff from me because I am newly fixated on this.

Noelle is a false dragon (True Dragons are basically Gods in this setting) so she is blessed with incredible magic and the ability to learn pretty much any kind of magic! She basically min-maxxed her stats since her race an regenerate MP for free. She can cast at incredible power.... but she barely has any MP. If she casts above her MP level, it takes away some of her HP, and magic classes without MP can't move and collapse from exhaustion unless they get their MP back...

Her teammates are suffering.

I already have so much lore typed out but too lazy to type it again lol

Ok, I get that I am being hypocritical because I draw a ton of uwu cute dragon stuff... and also, this doesn't apply to every dragon of course because some people do like to draw their dragons as basically big mythical cats which is 100% valid and ok.

BUT AHHHH NOELLE IS NOT A BIG CAT! SHE IS A DRAGON!!! A FIERCE DRAGON!!!! Don't demean the likes of dragons, they are their own seperate awesome thing, not just cats! >:(

I was debating whether or not to add the saliva ngl, you know the images of like snarling animals with spittle and stuff? I kinda wanted to draw that to make her look more fierce, but people can be very freaking weird if you add saliva to a dragon mouth :/ But ultimately I kinda just want to normalize like... growling dragons and spittle in an actual fierce normal way so I'm just gonna include it and hope that people won't be weird with it >-<

Happy August 15, aka kagepro day! I know it's a bit of an overexaggerated thing, but Kagerou Project is genuinely one of the most important things in my life. No other songs have touched my soul and life deeply like this series, and the stories told by these songs have sat in my heart forever. The songs have sat with me through happiness, and comforted my heart through sadness. It's such an incredibly important thing to me...

So I wanted to wish it a happy 15th anniversary, and showcase some art of Noelle as Ayano, my favorite kagepro character.

The urge to loredump for 2 hours making an entire writeup about her character and the story behind this is so strong, but it would be a crime to spoil everything haha
