Poco X7 Pro, quais cooler e acessórios comprar?

What is the best custom ROM for my Redmi Note 9S?

I have a Redmi Note 9S running MIUI 12.5.5.0, still stuck on Android 11. Usually, this didn't bother me, but recently many apps I want to use, like smart home apps, require Android 12 or higher.

I have the option to update to MIUI 13.0.2.0, which would give me Android 12, but I've noticed that update is terrible; I've seen many people say they had issues with it and that it made the phone perform much worse.

So, I decided to try out custom ROMs for the first time, something I'd only ever heard about, but I want to know which one is best for my device.

Here is some information I think is relevant: I'm in Brazil, and this is my primary phone; I don't have the money to buy a newer one right now. So, I'd like a ROM that runs a current version of Android, doesn't put too much strain on the device (since I still like playing games on my phone), and allows me to use Google services (like Google Photos) and, most importantly, my banking and government apps.

I'm not sure if there's a ROM that meets all these requirements.

The emulation situation in Mali is so sad, I really wanted to buy a Poco X8 Pro Max But I know I'm going to regret it.

I want to replace my Redmi Note 9S, which I bought during the pandemic.

The problem is that I live in Brazil, where smartphones are very expensive, so I usually keep the same phone for many years. My Redmi Note 9S has been with me for six years, and it's still working almost perfectly. The main reason I want to replace it is that the battery is starting to wear out and no longer lasts as long as it used to.

I mostly use my phone for game emulation. I actually don't enjoy Android games very much—I almost always prefer emulating console games. Since I plan to keep my next phone for another six years or more, I also try to avoid excessive heat that could accelerate battery degradation.

After doing some research, the phone that caught my attention the most is the Poco X8 Pro Max. What attracts me is its combination of a very powerful processor and, especially, its huge battery. In my mind, a larger battery should take longer to degrade, allowing me to keep the phone for even longer. The powerful chipset should also help the phone stay fast for many years before it starts slowing down.

However, almost everyone recommends the Poco F7 for emulation because it uses a Snapdragon processor. The problem is that it has a smaller battery, and I've also heard that Snapdragon chips tend to run hotter than MediaTek Dimensity processors, although I'm not sure how true that is.

What keeps pulling me back toward the X8 Pro Max is the battery. Since I keep my phones for such a long time, battery longevity is one of my biggest priorities.

The games I emulate are generally not very demanding by today's standards. For example, I have already played Nintendo Switch games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Blade Chimera, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus on my Redmi Note 9S with its Snapdragon 720G. Surprisingly, some of these games even seem to perform better on it than on devices with the Dimensity 9500.

That's why I'm having such a hard time deciding.

Should I choose the Poco F7 for its better Snapdragon compatibility with emulators, or the Poco X8 Pro Max, which seems like the better overall phone and, thanks to its larger battery, could potentially last longer in my hands?

If Mali's emulation was good, I wouldn't hesitate to get the x8 pro.

Qual celular vale a pena comprar?

Moto Edge 60 Is he really dying?

I'm Brazilian, and I'm not wealthy. I only buy a new phone after many years of use. And when I say "many years," I don't mean people who replace their phones every 2 or 3 years. I mean 6 years or more. As long as my phone is still working, I keep using it.

In that situation, the worst thing that can happen is for the phone to suddenly die without any warning, and that's exactly what happened to me. During the pandemic, I bought a Poco X3 Pro, and now, in 2026, it suddenly died out of nowhere, causing me to lose a lot of valuable data.

I bought a Moto Edge 60 as a replacement, but I'm honestly worried because I've seen reports that this lineup is also having motherboard issues. I really hope I don't go through the same situation again.

Can anyone tell me if only the Fusion and Pro models are showing this problem? I bought the regular Edge 60.

I repurposed a spare cell phone um a portable I had lying around at home, a Moto G7 Play.

A front end that doesn't look like RetroArch (I hate RetroArch) and a cheap controller.

It's a Moto G7 Play.
