Want to buy a corvette c4 worth it Canada

Hello,

I want to buy a 1987 Corvette. It’s been driven around 300,000 km (I was told the mileage doesn’t really affect these cars). I think the paint is in great condition, and it’s being sold for around $6,000. This would be my first car, so I’m not sure if I’m making the right decision, especially considering insurance and maintenance costs.

I’m used to driving Teslas and Mercedes, so I know it won’t be comparable to an older Corvette, but I’ve always wanted one as my first car. However, I’ve heard that they require frequent maintenance/insurance.

For reference I’m a university student and plan to use it to commute to work and school, so I’m also wondering about fuel costs, I’m not too knowledgeable about cars, but I am willing to learn about them.

Nothing major has been modified on the car. I’m thinking of negotiating the price down to around $5,000. The transmission fluid has been changed, and the owner said they haven’t even washed it this year because they barely used it.

Here are some photos of the car. Everyone keeps telling me it’s not worth buying and that a C4 Corvette is more of a project car, while another friend says they’re not the most practical but are actually reliable. Who should I believe?

Tldr: car worth it! I kno it’s been probably asked too many times, but I’m in a rush and have to make a decision asap! THANKS! I checked it out yesterday and it looked nice no issues w it.

I know there’s more to this car other than appearance hence I’m asking! This will be my first manual car.

I (19f) can’t tell if I’m dependant over bf? or not? (24m) + if i prioritize him too much

Hi, I'm 19F and my boyfriend is 24M. (been with him for over 6 months) I like the dude, but I feel like I put way more effort into the relationship than he does. We're cool in person to some degree, but over text he barely communicates at all. He'll take 17+ hours to respond sometimes. (He says he's not into texting which I understand/ doesn't use social media, but I feel as if, if you care for someone you will go out your way to check up on them).

He also won't commute to see me at all, I'm always the one making the trip. At first it was because he was on house arrest. Then, when he got out of it, he broke his hand, leg, and heel or whatever, so he couldn't really walk, he can't drive idk maybe it's bad luck. I understand that, but he'll go be elsewhere with his friends, but when with me he'll say "he can't cos of his legs, etc" I can't tell if it's the situation or it's just me being unreasonable, I try to understand because his lifestyle is way too different, he's always doing something outside, but said is willing to go on "dates", but I feel like i shouldn't be asking to go on "dates", just cause he won't try to make money everywhere he goes or whatever.

I even bought him a scooter when he broke his leg. He said he'd pay me back, but he doesn't have the money right now, and I've been generous enough to let him take his time.On top of that, I've paid for all the Uber trips. He can't even pay me back for one $60 Uber ride that he promised he'd cover.

There was also a time when I was on mushrooms for the first time and having a bad trip. I went to his place and just lay down. He never texted me afterward to see if I was okay. The only reason he even texted me was because his mom told him I was there. He told me he was with his friend, but he was only about 30 minutes away. If I were him, I would've come to check on my partner.

A lot of the time he'll be doing something else and make me wait 10 minutes just to see him. It's a pain in the ass, and I'm trying to be understanding.

Whenever I bring up an issue, he'll say something about not wanting to deal with arguments or disagreements. Even when I'm walking with him in person, he'll sometimes just take off on his scooter and I'm left following behind him like an idiot.

I don't know if I'm overreacting or what. In person he's cool, but I don't know. Am I expecting too much, maybe I should live with him? He doesn't come across as if he's cheating just emotionally distant and doesn't prioritize as much as I do? WHat do you guys think ?

Tl;dr feel like I'm putting significantly more effort into the relationship than my boyfriend is. I'm always the one commuting, spending money, and initiating communication, while he rarely responds, follows through on promises, or makes me feel prioritized

I know age seems to be a concern, but he's only been with people that were older than him, not sure. He works now, and is going to leave soon from his mothers place. We don't have SEX EVERYTIME either, i don't know if it's his mental health issues or what..

Alcohol Shipment questions

Hey,

I was wondering if this would be possible at all. I would like to ship alcohol (from a store) to UPS and then have it picked up from a UPS location.

Is that something that can be done? If not, are there any alternative solutions? I don't want the alcohol shipped to a residential address. Could a PO box work?

Thanks!
