2018 Lowe 1458 with 2018 9.9 Merc. Very excited to add FFS and a Bimini.

Do I need to turn OD off or ECT on or anything special or just drive as normal?

Not sure if I got the right shaft length. I believe this is a short shaft.

Google isn’t helping. It’s telling me either 15” or 20” but I can’t find a solid answer

I have a Lowe 1458 and I want to purchase an outboard. But I’m not sure what kind of outboard to get. I think short shaft but my transom is 16”. Would a 20” shaft be too long?

Getting a good deal on this outboard but not sure if it’s a long or short shaft. I have a 14ft aluminum boat and not sure if it will be too long.

Not trying to overpay for my first outboard. Thanks!

As title says. Do I need to add anything to my transom for an outboard or can I just mount the outboard directly to the transom.

Has anyone towed a smaller Jon boat long distance? I’m buying a boat this weekend but worried about towing. It’ll be around a 170 mile trip. Mostly highway. 4Runner has 255k miles on it. Driving through New Mexico desert so worried about temps.

Paying 250 for a rod just for all the guides to not line up is super frustrating. They told me to email them a picture of the guides and they haven’t gotten back to me in 2 days. This is the 3rd rod I’ve gotten from st croix and the 3rd I’ve had to return. Extremely frustrated with this brand. Never had this issue with Daiwa or Dobyns. If anyone can recommend a good musky spinning rod please point me in the right direction. Throwing 3oz buck tails

Boat is a 1960 sea king. Both boat and trailer have titles. Just curious because the Jon boat market seems to be extremely inflated where I’m from.

Boat and trailer have clean title. Boat and trailer are both freshly painted and sealed. Trailer also has new wiring and lights.
