Wild bear attack

I’m level 17 running a stealth archer/conjuration build, and I was doing the “Missing in Action” quest to rescue Thorald Gray-Mane from Northwatch Keep.
As I was approaching the keep, I spotted a giant bear way off in the distance on the other side of the river. Naturally, I put a couple arrows into it.
The bear then decided it had somewhere very important to be.
It ran straight into Northwatch Keep and proceeded to slaughter basically everyone inside.
By the time I caught up, there were only like two archers left standing on the roof.
I just stood there watching this freaking bear single-handedly assault Northwatch Keep.
I couldn’t recreate this if I tried. Skyrim is at its absolute best when you accidentally create your own story.

Surprising budget meal

I found myself with not much to work with, but I had a pound of hot sausage and a box of Stove Top stuffing, so I figured I’d see what I could come up with.
I cooked the sausage like ground beef, but instead of draining the rendered fat, I repurposed it as the fat needed for the Stove Top. I made the stuffing according to the directions, served it with a can of peas, and honestly, it turned out really good.
The best part? I’ve gotten four meals out of it so far, and I still have one serving left. I do eat relatively small portions, but still, a pound of sausage, a box of stuffing, and a can of peas went a surprisingly long way.
It ended up being a simple, filling, and very inexpensive meal.
I think I may have accidentally discovered one of my new go-to budget meals.
What are some cheap meals you make that are way better than they have any right to be?

I accidentally optimize the fun out of gaming

When I first got into handheld emulation, I had a different job where I actually had downtime to play on the clock. Building a huge game library made perfect sense back then.
Fast forward to today: I work full-time, I’m trying to build a couple of side hustles, keep up with life, and in my infinite wisdom I bought large-capacity microSD cards and loaded them up with games.
Now when I finally get 30 minutes to relax, I spend 25 of them scrolling through menus trying to decide what to play.
Past me thought, “Future me will love having every game at his fingertips.”
Future me has decision fatigue.
If I could do it over again, I’d probably keep a curated library of games that I’m genuinely excited to play instead of thousands of games sitting there “just because.”
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to spend another 20 minutes deciding between Pokémon, Dragon Quest, and River King…

Tomorrow calls me / Yet today still holds my heart / I walk with them both

So this is my first haiku that I wasn’t forced to do for school or anything.

I made an aphorism

“We’ve got to keep choosing tomorrow over today, without losing today or forgetting to live in the moment.”

So I figured I would turn it into a haiku… Which I actually like better

“Tomorrow calls me
Yet today still holds my heart
I walk with them both”

Metal gear solid peace walker, HD

So I’ve got a bunch of metal gears. I’m currently playing peace walker for PSP and I’m at the chrysalis boss and I really think the controls are just so clunky. Should I wait for the master collection volume two and play the HD version. I guess my question is are the change in buttons worth abandoning a game halfway through. I’m playing on my RG406H but can use my AYN Odin 2 Pro and can use steam link to play the Master collection.

Titles/franchises deserving a remake/remaster

I saw a AI remaster clip of medal of honor for PS1 it got me thinking and
I thought that would be a great franchise to remake, not just the graphics but the controls have come a long way since then too.

If you could get a title or franchise redone, what would you choose?

I think metal of honor and Dino crisis would be good
