GLAZING GUNDAM VIDAR IS THE REASON THIS HEART STILL BEATS

I don’t care if it’s every edge lord’s dream, or if it spends 80% of it’s screen time just aura farming, it’s the coolest mobile suit and no one will convince me otherwise.

Also the custom MG vidar is by me.

The MG Vidar is a blast to photograph

I’m not a great poser but it was really fun to pose and take photos of this kit since I’m still in the process of learning it all and would love to hear thoughts and feedback. Photos taken on Iphone 16+

Sorry Barbie, I like the Vidar more

Maybe one day we’ll get a proper MG Lupus Rex and Bael, so I can actually recreate the scene.

Custom MasterGrade Gundam Vidar done with acrylics markers

Recently got a set of 90 Arrtx acrylic markers, i’ve heard that they were quite effective in painting gunpla so I decided to push them to the limits with a recolor of the MG Gundam Vidar. From opening the box to finish, this whole build took around 50 or so hours, I only used arrtx markers (and the occasional gundam marker for some weathering aspects and tamiya panel liner) and then finished it off with some mr hobby premium flat top coat. I’m really impressed with how it turned out and the color coverage is really impressive, obviously the kit/build itself is amazing too since it’s such a pretty new MG.

If you want to see what the kit looked like with just base colors, no top coat or detailing, just the markers, my last pose was the kit after I had just finished painting everything.

The Vidar is my favorite mobile suit and so I would love to hear yall’s thoughts on my work.

Painting MG Gundam Vidar with acrylic markers

Recently picked up the Mastergrade Gundam Vidar and also recieved a 90 color set of Arrtx brush tip acrylic markers and decided to give them a try on the Vidar, I wanted to try out a new color scheme so I used the markers to their full extent in recoloring a lot of panels and details.

Didn’t use much surface prep, just light sanding and then applied multiple passes with the markers pretty much everywhere, really impressed with the coverage and vibrancy of the colors and the self leveling aspect meant the finish was pretty smooth (though not perfect, but im gonna top coat it anyway)

Took about 18 hours from opening the box, building and painting at the same time to get to those point. Still got a ton to do with building accessories, top coating, panel lining, shading, decaling, weathering, and then more top coating before i’m really done but i’m really happy with how the color scheme turned out, would love to know yall’s thoughts

First time customizing a gunpla, how’d I do? MG Gundam Barbatos

Years ago I was into gundam and I had built around 5-6 of them, most I had ever done to them was light sanding and coloring small details/panel lining with whatever permanent marker I could find.

I hadn’t built a gunpla in a few years until recently when I graduated from HS and decided to reward myself with the MG ver ka wing and Barbatos, I just put the wing together and panel lined it but when I got the Barbatos, I bought a bunch of gundam markers with it and decided I’d try to take a crack at customizing for the first time.

Using pretty much just gundam and 30 minute acrylic markers, I tried to go for a heavily weathered and battle damaged look, like a gundam that had been damaged in numerous battles and abandoned for a while before being rushed back into battle to desperately counter an attack (final photo is the barbie before I weathered it).

I’m really happy with how it turned out but would love to hear anyone’s thoughts and feedback!

I posted this yesterday but deleted it after realizing my photos and poses were ugly, so I decided to patch up a few spots on the gunpla, put more effort into the poses and get a proper background, mars colored.

After 1 year of playing, I finally got to 4K Formula irating

Been playing on and off but got a surge to grind some more iRating these last 2 months or so, not been the easiest but I finally got to 4k after a pretty fun race, it was a top split 2.6k SOF Super Formula Lights race at the Nurburgring, I had messed up quali so only qualified 3rd and ended my pole streak, but the challenge made this achievement way better because what happened next was a prolonged 3 way battle for the lead and after a race-long pursuit, I finally got into the lead towards the end and claimed the win and 60 irating to go with it. Probably one of my most fun race wins and I’m super happy to finally get to 4k after not being sure I’d get it this month.

Rate my driving posture guys

Am I doing this right???

Jokes aside, this was a 40.74 on fixed race setup, which is like 5 hundredths slower than a normal race lap

Google for whatever reason calls the city of Nha Trang as “Natural Heritage Area Trang”, and I thought I was going crazy because it made me think for a split second that I’d lived my whole life not knowing the Nha in Nha trang was an acronym for “Natural Heritage Area”, thankfully it’s not and I believe this is just some weird mistake but I thought it was interesting to point out to see if anyone has any clues as to why Google does this.

Just curious about those who keep track, what tracks have you guys spent the most time driving, what tracks have you been most competitive on?

For me, Okayama is my most driven track by a huge margin (125 hours and 9000kms), but I’ve had a much better track record in Motegi in terms of races.

Even if you don’t have a stat tracker like Garage61, I’d like to hear what tracks you guys feel like you’ve driven the most
