Hyundai i20 Sportz MT Delivery Delay – Anyone else in the same boat?

I booked my Hyundai i20 Sportz Manual on 15 June, and it's been several weeks now. The dealer says the car is still not assigned.

Variant: Sportz MT

Color: Amazon Grey

Booking Date: 15 June

Status: Yet to be assigned

I'm trying to understand if this is a common issue or if there's a shortage of this particular variant/color.

Has anyone else booked an i20 around the same time and is still waiting? If yes:

When did you book?

Has your VIN/chassis been assigned?

Which city/dealer did you book through?

Any updates from Hyundai regarding the delay?
