Trying to make Magnetic "Dress-Up Dolls"

My daughter loves playing with this one set of puffy stickers that are princesses that have a bunch of different dresses; however the stickiness runs out super quick so the clothes don't stick to the girls anymore.

I then tried buying something similar with magnets instead of the stickers, but the magnets are not strong enough and the clothes just fall off the girls. (My daughter does have a Cinderella Dress Up from Melissa and Doug and those work well, but I wanted to give her more variety with different girls and dresses, as an idea of what I was looking for).

So then I thought about just making my own. A random Google search suggested using a Cricut machine (which my mom has) to cut out the dolls/dresses from a magnetic sheet after printing the images on them. However I'm not sure how thick of sheets to use. Google suggested 20-30mm thickness, but I'm worried if I'll have the same problem I had with the magnet dress up I bought where the clothes won't stick to the girls (so I need something thin to fit in the Cricut, but thick enough that the magnets will actually hold together).

So I have a few questions. First off, has anyone tried anything like this? I guess I'm looking for confirmation that the magnets would stick together before I went through the trouble of cutting them out and printing on them.

Second, does anyone have any better ideas for this? I could go with the old school paper doll route but my daughter is still pretty young so messing with the paper tabs might not have the dresses stick very well anyway.

Thank you for any help! This is my first post on the thread so sorry if my format is wrong.

Help Finding Song with the Lyric "The Way I Was" (Rock Song?)

I had a list of songs that reminded me of stories I'd read, and another song I had on this list for the same story was "Your Betrayal" by Bullet For My Valentine. All I had for this particular song was "The Way I Was" (it must say it in the chorus which probably made me think that was the title). I did a quick Google search, but all of the things that come up are not what song I had in mind.

I'm assuming it's a similar rock/punk-type song like Your Betrayal. I could have sworn the lyric was something "help me get back to the way I was" or "can't go back to the way I was", or something like that....? But again, anything on Google is not even close.

Can anyone offer any suggestions of rock-type songs that might have "the way I was" in there? I think the overall theme of it was like, things had changed and there was no way to go back to the way they were.

The song was likely in the 2005-2015 time frame.

EDIT: After having to consult a few different AIs, I found that it was indeed called "The Way I Was" by Makeshift Romeo. No idea why this didn't pop up AT ALL with ANY of my searches, but yay for SEO /sarcasm. Anyway, resolved!

Best Way to Play Music with Different Playlists? (2019 Subaru Outback Limited)

Hello all!

I recently purchased a 2019 Subaru Outback Limited and I love it! I have a question though and was hoping some more tech-savvy people here could help.

Back in the day with my 2001 Jeep, I could listen to my iPod using a converter through the tape deck. Obviously my Subaru only has the CD player, and I have since lost my iPod (RIP).

I have a lot of songs I want to listen to, but I'm also a bit of an organization freak and love having different playlists (i.e. kids songs for my kiddo, anime/video game songs, etc.). The iPod was nice because it was easy to create like a million different playlists and select them.

I've done a bit of research and some people recommend using a USB drive, and there's a way to format it so you can have different playlists. But I've also heard some negative things, like it doesn't actually shuffle songs, or can have difficulties navigating the different playlists.

I've also seen suggestions of just using your phone and attaching that through the USB. I don't usually keep songs on my phone (since it's usually always filled up with pictures/videos anyway), so I'd obviously have to do extra research on how to do playlists etc. that way if that's the way to go.

That being said, what is the "best/easiest" way to play my own music through my Subaru? I was hoping maybe an mp3 player but it doesn't look like there's a reliable way to have it play/connect. What do you all do for your own music? (Preferably with easy-to-navigate playlists).

Thank you for any help!
