- Free: the full core editing workflow. Unlimited 1080p exports, no watermark, no account needed.
- $4.99/mo: 26 pro production tools (chroma key, color grades, stabilization, EQ, split-screen...)
- $9.99/mo: 28 AI tools (voiceover, dubbing, auto-captions, magic mask, upscale...)
- $14.95/mo: everything + 4K
The twist: pro production tools are free to USE. Grade your footage, key your green screen, whatever — the paywall only appears at export, when you've already seen the result on your own video. And if you don't want to pay, one click strips the premium effects and exports clean. I refuse to hold anyone's video hostage.
The AI tools stay locked up front because they cost me real server money per run — being honest about that.

Having a few bundles based on workflows and a few based on tool groups and being able to add individual tools to a bundle or just pick the ones users want to use. But what if I took it a step further? Keeping the free tools free and being able to choose what tools you want to use for a specific project. Pro rate them realistically and pay per export?
That way if users only editing a few videos a month they aren't tied into reoccurring subscriptions? I'm just trying to make AetherCut as user friendly as possible. Comment with suggestions please I need the feedback. Thanks

If you could select the features and make your own custom plan, for example AetherCut has 72 tools, I know that isn't a whole lot compared to the bigger names but hear me out.
If you could pick and choose the features and make your own custom menu instead of paying for all the pro features, would you? Like have basic tools for free and then select individual tools to add to your subscription adding to the subscription cost starting at $0 for basic and $14.95/mo for all? That way you only pay for the tools/features you use? Also considering workflow bundling. Might be a dumb idea but I still wanted to bounce it off of some of your brains and get input. Thanks
