New Septic tank has crack in floor

Just got this 1,000 gallon fibered cement installed last fall. Last week I finally filled it up with water-The contractor had never done a leak test so this is the first time water has ever touched the tank.. Well, upon filling up with water, I guess some sediment got washed around and I noticed there was a crack going almost all the way across the floor. Hadn’t noticed it before. Judging by these pictures can you tell if this is just a surface crack or if something that I should try to get fixed. How would you even fix this? 😞

2016 Ford Explorer Sport twin turbo 3.5. Buy or walk away? haha

143,000 miles.

Asking price is $7,800. I was thinking of making an offer around $6,500. Car body is mint, inside leather in good shape. Everything works.

I'm aware of the water pump probably needing to be replaced soon, quoted $1,800 at my local car shop to do that with Ford OEM timing chain replace.

I will install a PTU vent and do a fluid replace on that unit.

Other than that, praying turbos stay good.

The car looks so cool and I want it. Should I buy or walk away?

AITA for breaking up with my girlfriend because she never bought me anything?

We (40m and 37f) dated for about eight months. Went on plenty of dates to bars, restaurants, arcades, movies, etc. She would always come to my house for a couple reasons, but that was fine with me. In the beginning, she always said how she wanted to cook for me and would bring over ingredients to do so. But it never happened and the expectation turned into either I would have dinner planned and cook or we would go out. Y’all know how it is every date night was like $100-$200. but I liked her and had fun so I never really brought it up, but in the back of my mind, I just thought it was odd. She never offered to spend her money on anything other than Uber to come over.

Not one time did she ever offer to buy me a drink or a dinner or bring over any food to cook. She did cook once after I finally took a stand and told her I wanted to try her arepas she always talked about (I went out and got the ingredients).

She was from Venezuela, so maybe she had different cultural values and views on this subject. So finally I asked her about it and she said she just thought I was a gentleman. Then she got mad because I told her it makes me feel like you don’t really like me because you never buy me anything. And then I broke up her because she still didn’t seem to understand and seemed like she was trying to gaslight me and basically calling me a horrible person for even bringing it up.

But looking back maybe I should’ve given her a chance after that confrontation. I just felt like at the time if she would’ve wanted to contribute to our relationship financially she done so. AITA? I will add this came to a head like 4 days before her birthday. So yeah, timing was bad.

ps I do make a lot more money than her. She works two jobs for basically minimum wage so she works all the time. My job pays 58K per year.

Roofing company quote low on purpse to upsell later?

I have a 1400 sq. ft. house but the roof area is about 2100-2200 square feet. I have 4 gables (2 different roofs). Roof slope is about 45 degrees. Overall pretty basic roof, only 1 vent to deal with that is a 3" pvc vent with a standard boot. Currently on there now is 30 year old ag panels overalying 2x4 purlins that are dry rotted. Not all, but some bad spots where it's been leaking over time. So I got a quote for 5500 for cheap shingles, 6500 for owens corning shingles, 10k for ag panels, and 11.5k for standing seam. An additional 3.5k to remove the old purlins and repalce with plywood sheathing and add a synthetic underlayment. They didn't visit my site to give the quote, used satellite images. They offered to come out in a couple weeks to do the work.

So my quesiton is does this quote seem ridiculously low? The company seems to have good reviews and is a larger company in my area. I've heard some companies will offer low quotes to suck you in and then start "finding" things they need to charge for. Please let me know if you need any more info to inform your opinion, but I'm just looking for rough estimates. Like is this within reason? I thought standing seam would be at least $30k plus a bunch more to remove purlins and replace w/ sheathing.

I am in North Georiga company out of Atlanta in case that is relevant.

Is 4/0 4/0 2/0 (neutral) with a #4 ground acceptable for outdoor disconnect/ meter box to inside distribution box?

I know it's better to run 4/0 4/0 4/0 2/0 but will this work?

It's a small 800 sq ft. cabin. 200 amp service. 40 foot run, aluminum.

I do plan to run a mini-split from the outdoor disconnect on a seperate circuit, so it won't be on this wire. Main thing that will be on this cable is electric stove and 18 kw on-demand water heater, and the normal things, nothing crazy,.

My electric co op (small town) said it's fine. They also told me it's ok to run the service entrance from the weatherhead to the outdoor disconnect/meter box combo at 4/0 4/0 2/0, which I did. So since I ran the 2/0 neutral outside seems like it'd be fine to run it inside. Google AI tells me both sizes are the industry standard

I found all these 4 ounce glass jars with screw top lids. Some of the lids are labeled with CS. Most are empty, but some contain a clear odorless liquid. Does anyone know what CS stands for?- assuming they’re related to whatever is inside them.

HR recently changed me to exempt-professional. I was hired non-exempt. I do have to work overtime and was previously paid for that, now informed I won't be.

My job required a bachelors degree of any type of science or engineering so it was not education specifically for the purpose of this job. Most of the expertese for the job required on-the-job learning. The degree was to show you could use critical thinking because it does require quite a bit of unsupervised duties. But I am not a supervisor to anyone. I perform routine duties same every year.

I'm not seeing how I can be classified as exempt.
