App won’t launch (Not Responding)

Update: Doing a factory reset on the headset got everything working again.

Anyone having issues the last few days when trying to play? Whenever I try to start the app it tries to load for about 5 seconds and then a black window comes up saying the app is not responding and I can either quit or wait.

I’ve tried waiting a bunch of times, but it never worked. Tried restarting the headset, tried force restarting, tried clearing the app cache, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and still the problem persists. I saw a couple recent reviews reporting the same problem.

Sucks because I saw some new DLC so I bought it but haven’t been able to play it.

This is on a Quest 3 and everything seems up to date. Are many of you having the same problem? Any tips or possible fixes? Other apps seem to be working fine.

Thanks for the help and have a nice day!

Am I going to have to cut down my “dwarf” cherry tree?

My wife and I were supposed to get married back in May 2020, but because of Covid we had to cancel. My wife was really upset, so I thought it would be a nice idea to plant a tree together on the day we were to marry.

I’m in the GTA so my backyard isn’t massive (main area is about 55 wide by 30 feet deep). We check out some garden centres and end up seeing sweet cherry tree for $65 that couldn’t have been more than 4 feet tall and maybe like 3/4” thick at the base and didn’t even have any branches. The info tag tied to the tree said it was a dwarf sweet cherry tree and would grow to about 10-12 feet tall on average.

Here I am 6 years later and this thing has been cruising along. The base of the trunk is just about 6 inches in diameter and I’m guessing close to 18 feet tall to the top. 2 years ago I went up and cut 4-5 feet off the top but it just came back in no time.

So here’s my concern. At the time it was suggested to plant the tree 6-10 feet away from the house so I did 8 because that’s what fit best around our patio stones. Seeing how big the tree is now I’m a little bit worried about to root system eventually causing issues with my basement which is a poured concrete foundation. My wife, daughter, dogs and myself all love the tree and how much shade it provides in the summer along with its cherries, but I worry that maybe this tree was mislabeled seeing how tall it has gotten.

Will I have to remove it or can I prune it back significantly next winter? I never really pruned it much besides branches close to the house because I just assumed it was going to stop growing.

I feel like I saw some tall money trees when I was at the business centre about a month ago, but I could be mistaken. I prefer shopping there, but if I’ll only find them on Harry Walker then I guess I’ll head that way. Thank everyone!
