I've got this ae1 as broken (mechanically locked)
Managed to unlock it, but i see that the 2nd electromagnet is not releasing the courtain (it remains energized)
What could be the problem ?
Salutare!
Hello, so I've got this canon eos-1 and it has this problem eith the mirror getting stuck after I shoot. It happens every time and I'm looking to open it and find out what the problem really is, but I'd like some opinions too regarding potential fixes. It seems that it's getting stuck in an intermediate position, and also it wants to spring back also from down position, messing with the autofocus too.
Any idea on what should I look for when tearing down the camera?
Just got some 1975 expired orwo film and I plan to shoot some, but I found out that I would need CD1 developer and to use the process ORWO 9165 (C-112). Is there any alternative process that could get me slides with this film ?

I observed that my screen has this weird problem that if I dimm it less that 50% it can absolutely crash the blacks and the near black colors get to have a green tint.
If I enable HDR mode this problem is at any brightness
If I play with flicker free dimming function the display only gets dimmer at max brightness but the weird effect still remains
Is this a known problem ? Or is my screen defective ?
It's my work laptop so sending it to warranty would be a pain
I want to remove the top plate of the camera in order to see what is the problem with the exposure meter, but I can't really figure out how to remove the film advance knob...
Some service manuals would be great too :))
Can anyone help me please ?
