Is this normal?

I just bought the game. I have been waiting for Endgame to find a match for 10 minuttes now. By then I have counted 23 waiting for relay screens. Nothing has happened yet except for those (24 now) relay screens. I feel kinda scammed out of my money. My internett isn't this bad! Idk what is going on (25 now)

Edit: after 15 minuttes of waiting it gave me an error code to sheck my internett connection 🤦🏻 what kind of perfect internett do you need to play games like this and Diablo 4? (got issues there too. But not any other multiplayer game)

Temp cage, he not very happy lol

My landlord is gonna drill a hole through the wall behind his enclosure. So I know it is gonna vibrate a lot. So to not make him feel all the shaking, he is staying in here till the work is done.

Had a bad dream and wonderin if anyone else here have had it too

I know it is a silly subject to post here. But I had a nightmare last night. It started normal. Some weird adventure. But then I came home and my gecko was like skin and bones thin and sickly. Woke up and I knew it was a dream. I dont usually wake from nightmares. But, I was worried about my gecko (I know it would be unreasonable for him to be skin and bones. He is slightly overweight lol, but it still woke me

How do you deal with people you love using AI

It is a very big issue for me and my orchestra has recently started using it for advertising our concert dates. But as an artist I feel so demotivated and slightly disrespected. And I try to talk to them about why I think it isn't good that they are using it. I can't keep myself from taking it so personally.

This feeling hurts a lot. It festers. And with my autism I don't handle this emotion well.

How would I go about fixing this mindsett I have. (now I dont mean I want to accept it. I just want to try and only care about what I am doing. And no one else. But I find it so hard. I am very empathic to the point others pain hurts me physically. Emotional distress around me gives me stomach ulcers from stress. And I need to lower my stress levels at all times. But this thought is reaaaaaaally stubborn and wont go away. I just want to be happy and participate with my orchestra as orchestra is my fav hobby ;-; )

(Side note: I hope this doesn't violate any rules. The point of this post is not about the opinion of this subject. It's a question I have to find a way to live more healthy when it comes to my stressfull thought patterns. And I just want my brain to stop nagging and to stop taking everything so personally cus I dont want that).

Just wondering about something

I am going to visit my dad (3 hours away from me in a remote village.) going to be there from Monday - Wednesday. I am thinking of bringing my gecko with me cus the temperature outside is comfortable temp for a gecko (Would not do it if it was Spring, Autumn or winter cus I live in Norway. But it is summer now so it is not bad for him to be outside for a bit during the travel)

Now my question is if this would be an OK enough Temporary cage for ca 2 days (I leave like 14.00 on monday and 15.00 on Wednesday so) I'm just not comfortable leaving him alone at home with my cat for that long. Normally I would have a pet sitter. But this visit is an urgent one due to a family situation.

Edit: Thanks for the response. I will contact someone and see if they can take a peek into my home on tuesday to see if my cat has behaved and the gecko is fine 🐌 I'll be using this temp enclosure only as transport whenever I am taking him to the vet or somewhere only under 24 hours as adviced

Why do some vets recommend stuff for Leopard Gecko despite not knowing what's best for the gecko?

I own a Leopard Gecko. And I am active in the leopard gecko subreddit to make sure my husbandry is up to par. But I've noticed a scary pattern amongst leopard gecko owners experience with vet visits.

Lots of vets seem to be able to help the gecko just fine with the illness. But for some reason the vets will recommend very bad husbandry tips.

Common things vets have told leopard gecko owners that would harm the gecko in the long run:

- Use reptile carpet (this is a bad tip cus it will literally rip the leopard geckos toes off, and if misted will get moldy)

- red heat lamp (the red light can disturb their sight and day/night cycle)

- recommending a 20 Gallon tank (the minimum tank for a leopard Geckos needs is 40 Gallons)

- that you just need 1 hide (they need 3 hides, one in the warm side, one in the moist side and one in the middle.)

- Cohabitation with other leopard geckos ( this one is less common for vets to recommend but some say it is okay)

Why would these veterinarians recommend things when they haven't read up on propper leopard gecko husbandry?

Splooting after a hard day at work

1st grade at the local school got to hold him. He did great. Even handled being held longer today. Very proud of him. Now he is splooting in his warm hide. He also again showed clear indication that I am his safe person 🥺😭

Also got a drawing from one of the kids 🥺😭💚💚

Stole my heart. Had a crappy week so I needed this today.

Wanted to share how proud I am of my Gecko

Yesterday I had my gecko along with a lot of my exotic bugs for a display at a local elementary school. I wanted to teach them about how to propperly care for both The gekco and all the bugs and what each needs. I taught them how to properly handle the gecko without scaring or making it too stressed. And each kid handled him very well. He didn't show any sign of agitation before the end in which he got back in his travel enclosure. The kids wanted another round ofc, but I told them that he is a bit tired and they handled that without complaint. They all washed their hands before handling him and I kept close eye on his body language through the whole thing. He was so tolerant and good to the kids and I think the kids learnt a new perspective to nature.

Is it normal

He has been staying in the moist hide for a while now. He came out a bit earlier today and now he is back in the hide and blocked the door with some moss. Does he just want to be alone for a while or?

Freshly molted Dubia

Was very excited when I caught this one this morning. I occationally handle my dubias. I dont want the only time I handle them being gecko feeding time. When they are gonna be fed to my gecko I usually use the tongs cus my geckos aim sucks some times. Hard not to fall in love with these guys. Which makes gecko feeding time feel a bit offputting to me. I got stick bugs to have some bugs to care for that isn't for feeding.

Marked it as husbandry, but it's just a cool pic I got of this female dubia freshly molted 💚🪳

Black reflective round beetle with 2 tiny red dots at the middle top

I found him on my red pants. He looks brown redish on the pics cus of the very reflective black coat. He's very round. He did remind me of a type of lady bug. But not 100% sure. Located in South east Norway Agder region by the coast. I can't find an identification for him yet. As it is the first time I have seen one like this.

When I was about 13 (im 28 today) I used to play this X Box Jrpg game that starts up in a white academy. The game is 3 dimensional. I never reached past a market where some catastrophe happens and you have to fight monsters. I only remember vividly the start academy. It has 2 floors. Of modern design. Had some plants. A half spiralled staircase. Since it was before a traumatic event in my life, I don't have good recollection from this time due to dyssociative amnesia. But I get some small memories in fragments. And I woke up at 3 am after a dream that took me back to that game. Any help would be appreciated. I will search the games up on youtube and watch the start to see if the start area fits with my recollection.

Edit: Thanks for the response. The game was Enchanted arms

The new hidyhole had to be discarded tho cus the teeth on it were sharper than on the pic and it was 10% smaller than advertised (":.

The rest is great

I put some up on the moist side. Along with a new lill hide. And some on the hot side (2nd pic) Now he got more climbing opportunities. I got a middle part with a wooden hide. But it's not new. So you're seeing 2/3rd of his enclosure.
