Bonked my forehead on my desk while cleaning on the morning of the 18th, and have been pretty sensitive to light, sound, and movement ever since. It came to a head last night after playing ~5 Valorant games with a friend, and the headache and dizziness became excruciating the longer we played and got even worse well after we were done. I went to urgent care this morning when the headache didn't really improve, and when I was counting my supplements, I was confusing myself with the numbers (I kept saying "10, 20, 50, 30, 40," realizing I was wrong but wasn't sure why, and restarting over and over again until I finally counted right.) I have also been re-reading sentences (I'm just not fully understanding them the first time) since it got worse last night. I kind of figured I had a concussion, I just didn't realize that a mild concussion could feel this bad????

Anyways, my discharge paperwork says Mild TBI/Concussion, I've been told no games, no ballet barre practice, and just generally no screens. Which would he fine, but I'm also a digital artist and writer, and I'm currently in a long distance relationship, so I'm very often at a screen. Right now I won't be on screens for long or often since I just feel awful within an hour, big headache, big nausea, big dizziness, but how long for you guys after you first hit your head did it start to improve? I feel like shit.

Had a small tear appear at the end of the tail for my Lovense Lush 1 and I'm pretty sad about it, especially since the Lovense Lush 1 was discontinued however long ago. I'm sure it's still safe to use a few more times, especially since I (mostly, not always) use it externally, but I also don't want to risk any moisture or bacteria harboring due to the tear, because I'm assuming movement + vibration is just going to help it tear open further. I'm not savvy enough with silicone to even want to try to repair it, and I know even if I was, it'd probably be even more unsafe if I did.

The thing is, I'm pretty attached at the hip to this specific vibrator, and I have weirdly tight anatomy (very narrow 'entrance' at my pelvic bone, and pretty tight muscles down there because I unfortunately grew up using a weird masturbation technique that I haven't really heard of anyone else doing), so I'm really unsure about picking up the Lush 3 or 4 since they're marginally bigger, even though they are clearly otherwise built much better at least for where the charging is. I know they're not THAT much bigger, but I already had to essentially "train" myself up all those years ago when I got the Lush 1 so it wouldn't feel painful going in or taking it out (and it still sometimes is without properly preparing), and even though I don't use it internally very often, it's still nice to be able to (':

So yeah, sorry for the long ass TMI ramble, but is there even anywhere that still sells the Lush 1, obviously unopened and unused? I'm just so sad that they discontinued it. Or would I really just be better off getting a newer gen Lush and getting used to the size difference if it's that noticeable? I'm genuinely not even sure what to do here lmao, I should have bought 2 of these back when I bought it.

Had a few sudden emergent expenses that fully ruined my budget this month, phone died, sudden old medical lab bill popped up that I couldn't put off paying, etc etc. Had to even let my partner know that I can't ship his anniversary gift out (it's our 1 year on the 20th) until next month, but he's a sweetheart so he's just happy with the thought of it.

I'm just looking for about $70 (or really anything, I can make it stretch!) to help out with meals (edit: also bus fare for meetings with my employment counsellor, I just checked my bus card and it's at $3) to make it until the end of the month, since I'm paid again on the 30th. I picked up from the community fridge and the food bank near me, but they're struggling on getting stuff in right now, and especially with the community fridge itself I don't want to over-take anything since there's people who are actually homeless who would be served better by the healthy stuff. I just need to fill up on rices, breads, noodles, etc. until I'm paid again and stretch out what I have.
