Ran a small healthcare ad campaign this week with a ₹5k total budget and honestly learned a lot from it.

Campaign setup:

₹500 daily budget

Promoted ₹99 & ₹199 consultation packages

Generated around 40 leads

At first I thought the low-ticket offers were only useful for getting inquiries, but the interesting part came later.

Some people who initially came for OP consultations later converted into IP patients through:

retargeting ads

WhatsApp follow-ups

regular communication

trust built after first visit

Around 5–10 leads converted further down the funnel.

This completely changed the way I look at healthcare marketing.

Now I understand why hospitals run:

₹99 consultations

free camps

discounted health checkups

The real revenue doesn’t happen on the first offer. The first offer is just the entry point.

Honestly, retargeting + follow-up seems more important than the actual ad sometimes.

Anyone else here running healthcare campaigns? Would love to know what kind of funnels are working for you.

Has anyone faced Google review filtering issues for business profiles?

Yesterday I posted 2 genuine reviews for my organization from different accounts, but one of them is not showing publicly. The review was natural, no spam keywords, no links, and written like a real customer experience.

I noticed the reviewer can still see the review from their account, but it’s invisible to the public.

Could this be because:

Reviews were posted within a short time?

Same Wi-Fi/location?

Telugu + English mixed review?

Google detecting it as conflict of interest?

Would like to know if anyone else faced this recently and how long it took to appear.

Anyone else struggling with Google Business Profile verification without a physical office?

I run a service-based business and work remotely, so I don’t have a physical office/storefront. I tried setting up my Google Business Profile as a service-area business, but my phone number keeps getting rejected during approval.

I’m using a real mobile number, not a virtual number, and I’ve already added the same number across my website and social profiles.

For people who successfully verified a GMB without a public office address:

Did you use your home address and hide it?

Did video verification help?

Any tips to avoid suspension?

Would appreciate any genuine advice from people who dealt with this recently.

One of the toughest lessons I learned in SEO came from a website migration.

I was handling SEO for a business website built on WordPress, and the results were strong: • Local SEO rankings were improving • Google Maps visibility increased • Organic traffic was growing steadily • We were generating around 30–40 enquiries daily

Everything was performing well.

Then the management decided to rebuild the website into a custom-coded version.

The problem? The migration happened without proper SEO planning.

Soon after launch:

Local rankings started dropping

Previously optimized pages lost visibility

URL structures changed

SEO signals weakened

Organic enquiries declined

This experience reminded me that SEO is not just about content or keywords.

A successful website migration requires: ✔ Proper redirects

✔ Metadata preservation

✔ Technical SEO checks

✔ Internal link mapping

✔ Schema continuity

✔ Local SEO signal protection

A redesign can improve the look of a website.

But if SEO migration is ignored, it can wipe out years of organic growth.

Sometimes the biggest SEO mistakes happen during development, not marketing.

Client Wanted to Rank #1 on Google Maps… Everywhere He Goes 😂

One of my clients recently said:

“I want my Google Business Profile to rank #1 everywhere.
No matter where I go, when I search the keyword, my business should appear on top.”

I tried explaining that local SEO doesn’t work like that because Google shows results based on location, proximity, relevance, reviews, authority, etc.

But he kept checking rankings from different areas and asking:
“Why am I not ranking here also?” 😂

Sometimes clients think GMB works like a global Instagram hashtag ranking instead of hyperlocal search.

Had me laughing for 10 minutes straight.

Anyone else get these impossible local SEO requests from clients?

Spent ₹3000 on Meta ads for a local hospital. Here’s what happened.

We recently tested 2 simple Facebook/Instagram ads for a hospital campaign.

Results:

• ₹3000 total ad spend
• 21 leads generated
• 5 actual patient visits

Not huge numbers, but honestly this reminded me how different healthcare marketing is compared to normal local business marketing.

Most people don’t immediately book after seeing a hospital ad.

Usually they:

  • See the ad
  • Discuss with family
  • Compare hospitals
  • Check reviews/trust
  • Then decide

The interesting part was that the low-cost health screening packages performed best.

Things that worked for us:

  • Local targeting
  • Clear CTA
  • Trust-focused creatives
  • Problem-focused messaging
  • Affordable entry offer

Biggest learning:

In healthcare, follow-up matters more than the ad itself.

A lot of leads converted only after WhatsApp follow-ups and multiple touchpoints.

Now we’re testing:

  • Patient testimonial videos
  • Retargeting ads
  • Doctor branding content
  • Better emotional hooks

Curious to know — anyone else here running healthcare ads?

What has worked best for you?

Why does Perplexity & Gemini recognize my brand, but ChatGPT and Claude still don’t?

Recently I noticed something interesting while testing AI search platforms.

When I search for my brand “Pavan Goli Digital Marketing Services,” Perplexity and Gemini are already showing my content and recognizing my online presence.

But ChatGPT and Claude still barely mention it.

That made me realize something important:

AI SEO is completely different from traditional Google SEO.

It’s not only about ranking websites anymore.
Now it’s more about:

  • Brand authority
  • Mentions across the internet
  • Structured content
  • Consistent branding
  • Entity recognition
  • Website trust signals

I started understanding that AI tools learn from:

  • Blogs
  • LinkedIn
  • YouTube
  • Business listings
  • Social profiles
  • Mentions on multiple websites

So now I’m focusing more on:

  • Building strong personal branding
  • Writing useful content
  • Creating AI-friendly blogs
  • Adding schema markup
  • Keeping consistent business information everywhere

I think in the next few years, “AI Visibility” will become as important as Google rankings.

Anyone else experimenting with AI search optimization / AEO recently?
Would love to know what’s working for others.
