I like the peculiar pattern and color variations on the first one, is kind of unsettling and in motion.

Heliacal warming

Another AI/CG/Fractalish looking object, difficult to discern it’s an actual photo up close. The blooms were about 16in and so incredibly vivid radiating color like a fluorescent black light poster.

This actual photo looked so CG/AI generated I had to post it. Can anyone guess what the plant/flower is? About 9-10cm across.

I used my own simple hand drawn reference images to specify some of the concepts I had in mind. I included these along with some of the intermediate iterations as I wrought it to fruition!

Got the idea when I saw the wooden mannequin hand. The big wood cross is made from old grill tongs 🙂

I was thinking about how "the system" is made so that everybody is controlled by someone or sth above them or how our upbringing shapes us and the way we influence future generations.... something like that 😀 Maybe just "Control" for the name? Too on-the-nose?

The real creatures look so bizarre almost anything could not surprise for a new species.

Like a marble woodworm and time has somehow eroded these statues. And others like a newly crafter marble Greek style sculptures. Last one is more like full on body body fractalized.

The first one is full-on fractosis. But I rather like the second one better, I tried to make it very realistic, almost like a regular photo from a distance, yet almost all fractalish textures when studied closely.

Inspired by several of EOP’s ultra-groovy recent creations, I used them to seed some animations with prompts.
