Inspired by some surreal Big_Addendum work. I wanted to make a new surreal piece. The concept here was to show the last saguaro in the future, contorted by technical efforts to keep it alive. but form begins to follow familiarity and it starts to look like piping structures they are familiar with. The saguaro is hissing steam like broken pipes from the heat. The Native American stands in the background with his own traditional beliefs, arms raised to the sun, his form more resembling the original saguaros with open arms.

The vivid soft oil pastels work well for lavascapes. This one on pastel paper. Was the first emergence of the 1500ft tall double fountain.

Playing more today with Emergence on Steam. Having better luck than in the past. These are just screenshots, I need to capture a short video. Adjusting parameters in real time while flying around these 3D stereo VR creations is sublime.
