Solo RPG/Dungeon crawl with Magic

I am very new to the whole solo RPG thing, I have played and really enjoyed 2D6 Dungeon but I would really like to play something with more magic, something like D&D with different spells etc and a good combat system but that is easy to pick up and put down and for 1 or maybe 2 players! Any help and advice welcome!!!

Constantly inconsistent

I am relatively new to airbrushing, but not mini painting in general! I have a Cult of Paint Harder and Steinbeck Ultra airbrush, I am using Vallejo black primer and Army Painter Airbrush medium but no matter how thin I make it, what pressure settings I use, what the weather is doing I am constantly getting issues! I spent the best part of 50 minutes of my hour painting session today cleaning, and troubleshooting the blooming thing!!!!

It will spray fine for like 5 seconds then just stop completely, then a tiny misting will come out then nothing again... I have to 'pulse' the paint trigger to get anything to come out! Then it will all come out like massive amounts of paint then back to nothing or a tiny misting! It is completely random and inconsistent!

I am unbelievably frustrated with it and nearly launched it out the window this morning, like I say I have tried all different mixes of thinners to paint, disassembled, cleaned, reassembled nothing seems to help at all!

I am at a loss now, please help me!

Kakariki taming

Hi all, we recently got a hand reared Kakariki baby, about 5 days ago, he is only 12 weeks old named Beaker :) I wanted to get a bit of advice on taming/befriending him, the breeder we got him from said to get him out in the evening (when the kids are in bed) get him to step up a few times and he will probably fall asleep on our chest!

He steps up really well and takes seed from our hands but still seems nervous with us, he is a bit flighty and is always looking to fly back to his cage, the breeder being used to them just grabs them out the cage and then held them until they calmed down a bit and then got them stepping up, I don't want to frighten him by grabbing him but I also want him to be confident coming out and being handled.

I know birds take time and patience, we have had birds before but they were all rescues so had wildly different degrees of trust and handleability

Any tips and tricks are super appreciated! We want what's bets for him and also we want to love him! The kids love him and want to hold him so we want him to be confident coming out and interacting!

Thanks in advance!

Elagoo Saturn 4 Ultra screen replacement

Hey, so about a year ago my Elagoo Saturn 4 Ultra (12k) screen for black marks on it from pressure points, I bought a screen replacement from Chitu systems, fitted it and has been great ever since!

I have however just had a small tear in my nfep, resin got in the screen and set! I used a razor to get the resin off but the screen texture seemed to be almost plasticy and my razor has caused scratches, now there is like a 'hazy' patch where I scraped!

My question is does anyone know if the Chitu screens come with screen protectors pre applied?

If they don't I may have to re replace the screen again 😭 as I have printed a couple of test prints and I'm getting loads of floating artifacts which I think is caused by light refracting through the 'hazy' patch on the screen! Also even when prints don't wholly fail I am getting parts stuck to the nfep like if supports fail and the model sits at the bottom of the vat!

Any help is super appreciated thank you

Elagoo Saturn 4 Ultra screen

So think I messed up, nfep got a small split in it, got resin on the screen, no buggy just get a razor and scrape it off... AHH there is now scratched 'fuzzy' area on the screen! A. Will this affect prints? B. Is this a screen protector or the actual screen? C. How screwed am I?

So this is also a replacement screen, did the swap about a year ago, previous factory one had black spots from pressure from floating semi cured resin! But it was a while ago I did the screen replacement so can't remember if that is the actual screen or a protector of some sort! What's the likely hood? Thanks in advance!

Really struggling with TPU... Help!

So I have a CC, and absolutely love it! Printed tonnes of stuff with very little issues! I am however really struggling with TPU, I have Elagoo 95a TPU which I have actually printed 2 models perfectly with a few weeks ago! I have come to print some more out and it just keeps failing to extrude! Like will lay down a couple of layers then just carries on but no filament is coming out until I realise and stop the print! I have included a picture of the setup as I have it and the most recent temp tower failure. I have dried it out prior to printing and I am using Elagoo slicer Elagoo 95a TPU settings, any help would be awesome thanks!
