Adjusting speedo needle accuracy

I've only noticed this recently but the speedo is about 8mph off, or 10kmh off at every speed. The pixel display was replaced by the previous owner, so I assume the needle has come off for that repair. Is it a simple case of remove the needle and reposition it 10kmh further back to make it accurate again?

I've checked the accuracy with the on board readout for speed (Test 9 I think?) and it is consistently 10kmh inaccurate at every speed.

Got the screen working! Carphonics Carplay reinstalled. She's a beaut

Just needed to replace the capacitors in the screen itself and that was it!

Has anyone had experience with display power issues on the 4:3 monitor?

I suspect this may be linked to the LCM in some way as when the lights are on and the gauge brightness is lowered all the way down the display will turn itself off. Flickering is only present when the car is running, but removing fuse 69 to disable the radio also disables the light indicators on the dashboard. I'm hoping this is just some sort of wiring tomfoolery but any advice would be lovely.

Traffic Master still works!

Really did not expect it to work, but it did! Carplay is in too just need to figure out the signalling issue with the display but that and the airbag light are basically all of my worries with this car.

Bringing neon's back

Just a cheap 6 strip ebay set I wired into the 12V accessory so it's only on with the ignition but it's good! Gets a lot of attention. Just need to add a small battery inline so it remains on for a little after the car is shut off.

Fell foul of the airlock issue. Wasn't even aware of it until damage had been caused. It was a good run 😭
Had changed the oil previously on it the normal way, so I was just way too lucky I guess.

Sparco GT's are in!

Had to put spacers on the OEM bracket to make it fit, as well as modifying and welding the seatbelt bracket, but it's in! Very comfy and not overly tight.
