I watched a documentary yesterday about a forensic mental health facility. I’m watching something on YouTube now about a man who is clearly extremely mentally ill and is serving a sentence in prison. As far as I’m aware, and for arguments sake, he was mentally ill at the time of the offence. Why didn’t he go to a mental health facility?
I’d planned to travel to Kerala in November from the UK. Iran war means I can’t connect in the Middle East. I was thinking of flying to Sri Lanka and connecting there. Im concerned about fuel shortages. Flights are already much more expensive than they would have been last year. I have no idea what could change between now and November and i’m trying to work out what my travel insurance covers. Has anyone got any advice, guidance or suggestions?
Last year I played around with the odd month of no alcohol here and there, then aimed for 100 days, and ended up doing 7 months. I started drinking again in January, about 1x per week, and now I want to stop again.
Over the past month or so Ive said i’d do a month but have always had some sort of opportunity to drink that I’ve taken. Yesterday was my day one and i’m committed this time. Im starting to notice bloating, even from drinking once a week, and that isn’t ok for me.
I’m initially starting for 4 weeks, with a view to 8 weeks in the longer term.

I’m due to start training for a marathon and I live in London UK. In zone 2 so fairly central. I quite like running laps but 35 or so laps of a single park feels insane. Where do you run?!
My mum received a new (refurbished) phone. She transferred the data from the old one. The new phone
Is stuck on asking her to sign in to her apple account. The email address linked is one from ~15 years ago, and she doesn’t have the password. She does have another, updated, current apple account with her current email, but can’t enter that email.
At this point, I think the best option is to restore factory settings on the new phone and start again. Is that possible?
