Randomly bought this one owner, 2000 purple GSR from a co-worker today.

I Have always owned v8s for fun cars and currently have a six speed 06 Corvette as a weekend car. But I thought this would be fun to have.

He bought this new in 1999 and has always taken amazing car of it. I randomly said a few years back I’d buy it if he ever wanted to sell and then thought nothing of it.

He said last week he was going to sell and we agreed on 4k.

It’s stock down to the radio, is a 5 speed and has 276k miles. Drives great given the mileage. Paint needs work, but otherwise the car is fine. No rust. AC works great.

I think I paid a fair price given the mileage and paint but I have no real idea, just thought it’d be a cool car to have.

Anyways, here we are. Just thought I’d share since I don’t really have any friends who care about cars like I do haha.

Would love any feedback

Total amateur here with a 1994 5.8 f150 with continuous trans fluid leak from radiator cooler line

Full disclosure, I’m a total amateur. I discovered this leak after seeing how low the ATF oil is.

ATF Fluid is leaking down from the large bolt in a continuous stream. It appears someone was already in there at some point but couldn’t fix it. I did tighten the large/bronze bolt but it did absolutely nothing to help.

The leak is so prevalent that oil hits the fan and starts to get flung everywhere.

Is this a radiator replacement or line repair/replacement?

If I unbolted everything, what should I be looking for?

My dad is getting scammed; we've all warned him but he persists. Am I the only one who (for my own sanity) just stopped caring about what was going on?

My dad is 67, has always wanted to be an "author" and LARP around being a motivational and "guest" speaker (whatever that means).

To say he is computer/technology illiterate would be massive understatement; he cannot even figure out how to manage online banking or even utilize Facebook.

He has been prayed upon by several different scams who promise to publish him and help him into the "European market". From my understanding, he's already sent these people over $60,000. His wife, myself, family and neighbors have warned him of this, but he persists.

With just basic research, I've traced these people to Pakistan, so it's obvious what's going on here.

At first, it was eating me up emotionally what was going on and I begged him to stop because he was ruining himself financially. After I did what I could, I simply just flipped an "I don't care anymore switch" and have stepped back completely.

I feel like a bad son when I see all these posts of people trying to get POA or freeze credit scores, and whatever else they try to do. But to be honest, not caring has been *so* much better for my mental health.

Has anyone else done that?

my wife says she bought several from Amazon by a company called “pro goleem” but they were only made for a small window of time and then production ceased

I can’t seem to find any using my searching or using AI even.
