2years ago, I made a decision that changed my life: I wanted to become a better version of myself. I decided to step away from alcohol and the things that were constantly stressing me out, and honestly, it hasn’t always been easy.

But today, I’m 6 months sober, and I’m proud of myself. ❤️

My glow-up isn’t just about how I look on the outside. It’s about how I feel on the inside. I’m learning to protect my peace, walk away from things that drain me, and stop using unhealthy habits to cope with stress. I’ve been focusing more on myself, my goals, my health, and the kind of person I want to become.

There are still difficult days, but I’m learning that I don’t have to go back to old habits just because life gets hard. I can face the difficult moments, take a breath, and keep moving forward.

Six months sober has taught me that a real glow-up is choosing yourself, healing, growing, and becoming someone you’re proud of.

39F Yesterday, I was in a terrible accident with a friend and almost lost my life. My friend is still in a coma, and honestly, I haven’t been okay since. I’m grateful to be alive, but my heart is heavy. I could really use some kindness, encouragement, or a few comforting words right now. ❤️
