One week in Hyderabad. One experiment.

I'll be in Hyderabad from 16th to 22nd August for work.

Which means I'll probably spend my days pretending to be productive and my evenings deciding whether ordering room service counts as exploring the city. 😄

So I'm taking a different approach.

A little about me: I'm in tech, pretty laid-back, take care of myself, enjoy good food, spontaneous plans and conversations that start with something completely stupid and somehow end at 2 AM. I'm sarcastic enough to keep things interesting, but I can also have a conversation without turning it into an interview.

I'm much more into natural chemistry than perfectly planned dates.

Let's grab coffee, dinner or a drink somewhere nice. Talk. Laugh. See if we actually enjoy each other's company. If there's a spark, great - we don't need to decide beforehand what the evening is supposed to become.

I'm hoping to meet someone who's confident, curious, genuine and a little adventurous. Someone who has her own life, her own opinions and doesn't take herself too seriously.

Also, I'm not particularly interested in becoming someone's Reddit pen-pal. 😄

And yes, verification before meeting. Both ways. I'm happy to verify myself too. Reddit has enough catfish to stock an aquarium.

Here's my only requirement for the DM:

Don't start with “hey.”

Tell me something about yourself that would make me cancel whatever boring plan I had that evening.

I'll probably be in Hyderabad only for a week.

Might as well make it an interesting one. 😉

Apparently I'm coming to Hyderabad, so I need a better plan than this.

16th to 22nd August. Work trip. Hyderabad.

My current after-work itinerary is looking dangerously predictable: Laptop -> dinner -> hotel -> pretend I'm going to watch one episode -> somehow watch three.

I'd like to improve upon that. 😂

I'm the kind of person who's happy with a well-planned evening but equally happy when a simple “let's grab a coffee” somehow turns into wandering around the city for hours.

I'm into good food, travelling, staying active, spontaneous plans, dry humour and conversations with people who actually have something to say.

I'm fairly easygoing, take care of myself and don't believe every interaction needs to be forced into a particular category immediately.

I'd rather meet someone interesting and let the chemistry do the negotiating.

Ideally, you're confident, curious, funny, independent and comfortable being yourself. Bonus points if you can introduce me to something in Hyderabad that I wouldn't find on a generic Google itinerary.

I'm also not looking for a 200-message Reddit correspondence course. 😄 If we get along, let's eventually meet somewhere public and see if the real-life version is as good as the Reddit version.

Verification is mutual, obviously. I'll happily verify myself before meeting.

And now the important part:

What would you recommend to someone who's got only one week in Hyderabad - and why should I trust your recommendation?

If your answer is actually interesting, you've already got a better opening than 90% of my DMs.

Let's see what you've got. 👀

Edit: Used a bit of AI to polish the post.

Hyderabad for a week. Let’s make the work trip less boring.

I'll be in Hyderabad 16th–22nd August for work, and I'm trying to make sure my evenings don't become the usual combination of hotel food and Netflix.

A little about me without giving away my LinkedIn profile 😄 — I'm pretty easygoing, take care of myself, enjoy good food, spontaneous plans and conversations that somehow turn into hours. I can be sarcastic when the opportunity presents itself, but I promise I'm capable of having an actual conversation too.

I'm also not really into forcing things. I'd rather meet someone, grab a drink/coffee, laugh a little, see if there's chemistry and let the evening figure itself out.

I'm looking for someone who's genuine, confident, curious and comfortable with a little spontaneity.

No pen-pal situation, no collecting Instagram followers. If we click, I'd rather find out in person.

And because this is Reddit: verification before meeting, both ways. I'm happy to verify myself too. Catfish can stay in the aquarium. 😂

So here's my challenge:

Tell me something about yourself that would make me think, “Okay, I actually want to meet this woman.”

And please give me something better than “hey.”

I'm coming to Hyderabad for work. You can at least make the after-work part interesting. 😉

I probably shouldn't be posting this… but here we are.

Hyderabad: Work by day, good company by night

In Hyderabad from 16th - 22nd August for work.

I have a feeling my evenings are going to be painfully predictable: work, food, hotel, sleep.

Unless someone gives me a better option. 😏.

Looking for a confident, genuine woman who's open to talk and spend time together and then something more if we click.

I'm not interested in collecting Instagram followers or spending a week exchanging “hey” and “haha.” Let's actually talk, verify we're both real, meet somewhere public, and see where the chemistry goes.

Your challenge: give me ONE reason I should choose meeting you over having a very boring evening in my hotel.

Make it interesting.

And yes - verification goes both ways. Reddit has enough catfish already. 😂.

Hyderabad: Work by day, good company by night

Hyderabad, I have one week.

Flying into Hyderabad for work 16th to 22nd August.

I could do the predictable thing: hotel -> office -> dinner -> Netflix-> repeat.

But that's boring.

So here's the challenge:

If you're a genuinely fun woman, confident enough to meet someone new, and looking for something casual, convince me to ditch my post-work plans for you.

I'm not looking for a pen-pal, an interview, or 47 days of “hey / wyd / haha.” 😂

Let's have an actual conversation, verify we're both real, grab a drink/coffee somewhere public, and see whether there's chemistry.

And yes, verification is non-negotiable on both sides. Reddit has enough catfish to keep an aquarium running, so I'm perfectly happy to verify myself too.

You don't need to write an essay in my DMs.

Just tell me one thing that would make me choose your company over sitting alone in my hotel room.

Hyderabad, your move. 😏
