What type of slugs is this? And are they invasive to Kansas

I've been feeding them because I love slugs and my apartment doesn't allow pets so this is the best thing I can take care of, I've been giving them scraps of lettuce, and a few veggie scraps from my cooking, and they love it they're all coming around to my door and today I have 23, I love them and I always warn people when they're entering to make sure they dont step on any slugs, but if they are invasive then I know I cannot keep feeding them in good conscience, I love them so much and if they are invasive then I don't know if I'd be able yo kill them cause I love them, please give me answers because I don't want to damage the ecosystem by helping them, especially if they're predatory

My wife and I got a wheelchair from a friend who didn't need it anymore and got rid of it because they didn't have the space for it about 6 months ago they gave it to us because my wife is disabled and could have used it if it had fit her, she cannot comfortably sit in it because its too short for her and the foot rests were removed, and it pinches into her sides because it was made for people on the smaller side, it fits me really well, and we decided to keep it just in case, now, I work two jobs daily, I'm on my feet for both of them, I'm always exhausted and burnt out, and when we and my wife go to the grocery store my wife needs the electric carts because of her disability, but I have to walk around everywhere, often after work, my feet hurt and I get so tired, if she takes too long in the store I start just sitting on the floor next to her waiting till shes ready to move on. I've thought about taking the wheel chair out and using it after a long day, but I'm worried that I will miss using a mobility aid. I've used it before when I had a deep muscle contusion in my foot and walking caused great pain, and i was able to get around really well with it. I do have autism and sometimes by the end if the say I will mentally sundown so hard that I want to throw a toddler style tantrum at the idea of walking all the way to the back of the store again because we forgot bottled water. (I dont throw tantrums, but I've gotten close) I feel if I started using it at the end of the days like that it'd be so much easier on my body, I've had some people tell me that I should donate the wheelchair if we don't use it regularly, but I don't want to do that because my wife is disabled and maybe one day it could be modified to fit her, I've had other people encourage me to use it, because it makes using a wheelchair or disability AIDS more common and encourages people to use it more when society pressures people not to, I don't know what to do and I don't want to be insensitive, please give thoughts and opinions

Also we've thought about giving to the old folks home, but the problem with it is its been modified, and it has custom artwork or a peach on the back that said "My pain might be chronic, but this ass is iconic!" And we don't think little old ladies or men will really be thrilled to give that on the back
