Some things have a gestational period.

>An egg is dead until the sperm penetrates it. It can be there forever and it means nothing until the sperm actually penetrates that egg. So here is the egg, whether it be an human egg or the egg of the chicken the sperm must penetrate it. When it penetrates it and occupies it, it fertilizes it. When it becomes fertile, well then, in its own given time it breaks the shell and out comes whatever that was that was the sperm that penetrated it. So you penetrate a state by simply assuming that you are now the being that you would like to be. If you dare to assume that you are that which you would like to be so that you think from it instead of thinking of it, you are in that state. You’ve penetrated it.

>You don’t have to remain in that state. You’ve gone in and fertilized it, and you return now to your home where you slept the night before or slept five minutes before. But you did go in and you fertilized it, and then you remove the hand.

https://coolwisdombooks.com/neville/neville-goddard-lectures-creation/

>That was a merciful act when God selected me, his womb, and so loved me he impregnated me, and then I passed through the furnaces of gestation. Then comes the end. And here is the story of the end. It is characteristic of the visions of the end that in some peculiar way they are formed out of the pictures of the first things, the first things; for here Creation anticipates consummation, and the consummation is simply the fulfillment of the beginning.

>Q: Do you consider that embrace by power and love as an impregnation? Or is there another time, another mystical experience…

A: I can’t conceive of any sexual thrill comparable to that embrace. So that was it, yes.

Q: Thirty years gestation?

A: Yes. But I do not know how long. After all, some take…in this world of ours we have different intervals. I only know in my own case it happened in ’29 and the child came forward in ’59, so that was thirty years. Then it was an additional three years, approximately three and a half to the completed picture. And so it fulfilled scripture. So what does it matter, because without this we are simply parts of the structure of the universe moved hither and yon. But God in his infinite mercy falls in love with the prepared souls, and the prepared soul of man is the womb of God. So, some of our scientists are right on certain levels, like a Freud, he thinks the whole thing is sex.

>

>Well, he isn’t altogether wrong.

>

>Goodnight.

https://coolwisdombooks.com/neville/summery/

>Occupying the state, we fertilize it; having fertilized it, it has its own appointed hour for fulfillment. Every vision has its own appointed hour it will flower; if it seems long, wait for it – it is sure and it will not be late. Some things will grow overnight, and some things will grow in a week, then in three weeks, and then in a month, and some things will take years. It could be a problem over which we seem to have no control. We have told you the story here, where on one occasion it took five years, but oh! the joy of reaping the fruit then. It was the relationship of a mother and son-in-law. I have told you unnumbered stories where it took intervals of time, but it doesn’t matter, if we apply the principle.

Appearance Change

First photo is a free years ago. I'm wearing makeup. Second photo is when I was about 46. I'm 54 now, soon to be 55.

I feel like I look younger now than in the 46 yo photo. Also, the "beauty mark" on my cheek is gone. I wasn't trying for that, but it's worth noting.

I don't particularly care about looks, so I figured it might be an easy one to work on.

At bedtime, I simply imagine one particular person who I think looks young and beautiful. I see her in front of me (in my imagination) and then step into her body. I try to feel what it feels like to be her, from that particular aspect.

I haven't done anything else. I wash my face and such, but no creams or anything. I exercise, but no different from what I've done for years.

In particular, though, I've long disliked my double chin. Which I feel looks loads better now.

Our relationship to other people. My assessment of Neville's teachings.

There are a lot of arguments over what EIYPO means, and what degree of power we have to force others to our will. There are arguments about whether or not people can refuse our desires when we attempt to make that person the only route to our desire.

I will give my arguments here.

1.) Neville tells a story about when he wanted tickets for his brother to a theatre show. He wanted the tickets cheap. As he arrived at the desk, he noticed a man steal from the clerk.

Neville essentially chased the man down and got him captured. The clerk was very, very thankful and offered Neville discounted tickets.

He stated that this man had volunteered to do this thing so that Neville could get tickets. He explicitly pointed out that it was already in the man's nature to be a thief. He did nothing new from his usual, he simply this time did it at Neville's command.

I argue that this is one of the times when Neville said your wish will be fulfilled by someone whose nature fits the desire.

Source: https://coolwisdombooks.com/neville/neville-goddard-lectures-even-the-wicked-the-duality-of-man-it-is-done-in-your-imagination/

He also said that if you want a house and it takes a thousand people to make it, a thousand people will show up and make it. But he never said it would be Joe and Sally and Alex and Forest and Jordan and... The right people will show up.

2.) Neville does not appear to think that only ONE person is the right person for what you want.

He answers a woman who says she desires THAT specific man and no one else. He tells her point-blank that she wants to be happily married, not to that one person. He tells her to imagine a wedding ring on her finger.

He even says that he would go to the wedding and it would NOT be THAT person.

See the Q & A here: https://coolwisdombooks.com/neville/neville-goddard-lecture-power-1968/

I will go further and answer the rebuttal to this. Neville tells the story about how HIS WIFE manifested HIM. People keep arguing that he manifested her, but they are cherry picking the story.

He speaks here of "I manifested my second wife," and how he did it: https://coolwisdombooks.com/neville/brazen-impudence/

However... and it's a big 'however'...

He says in Power:

>Do you know why I know that? My wife did it. She did it! Actually, she did it.

Did what? SHE MANIFESTED NEVILLE. Before he ever saw his wife, she went to see "a sensitive as they call it," in Neville's words. The woman asked his not-yet-wife why she had taken her wedding ring off. Then said, "You will marry a man named nev, neva, nevo, something like that." This is BEFORE Neville saw her and immediately wanted her. SHE manifested HIM. He wasn't even interested in marriage, he was already married. People consistently miss this or deliberately gloss over it because they don't want to give up the idea of ultimate power over other people.

Neville did tell a story about one woman who wanted a certain man and got him. I would argue that this is but ONE story and it makes sense that in THAT case, he was a good match. But why do so many, many, many of these "particular person ONLY" 'missions' fail? If you can force someone specific to your will, then surely they should all work. Most missions of this sort should succeed.

But Neville plainly said they often failed. It was nearly always a different guy/ gal/ person.

3.) Neville explicitly and unequivocally states in this lecture The Pearl of Great Price to not make anyone or anything your god. In other words, your source.

https://coolwisdombooks.com/neville/pearl-of-great-price/

Joe or Sally is not the source of feeling loved. If you cannot make yourself feel loved and chosen, YOU NEVER WILL FEEL THAT WAY. Literally if you think it has to be Alex or Joe or whomever to love you or you can't feel loved, then you can't feel loved, by your own decree.

Because the hard truth is that you will only allow yourself to feel loved when they do X and Y, and maybe Z. But if they do A or B or C, you will choose (I wrote that deliberately, it wasn't an accident) to feel UNLOVED. But the feeling of being loved AND the feeling of being unloved are both coming from you. Always and only from you.

4.) Another reason why I think many people fail to manifest changes in people around them (and I am speaking of family here more than anything, but also the special one person scenarios) is because they refuse to give up their prior idea of that person.

You cannot serve two masters. Either you serve the "but the truth is," or you serve "I can rewrite the story." As long as you are married to the idea that "my mother is cruel to me," she will be. Or if she isn't by nature able or willing to be cruel, you may end up with a stepmother who will be cruel. The right person for the job will step up.

You cannot keep telling yourself stories about the past hurts, or having mental arguments with them, and expect them to change.

https://www.thepowerofawareness.org/chapter-seven

NOW, that being said, MOST PEOPLE want to be happy. MOST people want to have good relationships with family. It's far, far more normal for people to want happiness and good relationships. So when you offer up to them the THOUGHT TRANSMISSION of happy relationship with you, most will accept because it's normal to desire that.

Chapter 5: https://coolwisdombooks.com/neville/neville-goddard-prayer-the-art-of-believing/

You can "offer" change to a person by seeing them as you wish them to be.

Neville flat-out says that negative intentions can REBOUND. Chapter 5 continues:

>A person who directs a malicious thought to another will be injured by its rebound if he fails to get subconscious acceptance of the other. “As ye sow, so shall ye reap.” Furthermore, what you can wish and believe of another can be wished and believed of you, and you have no power to reject it if the one who desires it for you accepts it as true of you. The only power to reject a subjective word is to be incapable of wishing a similar state of another—to give presupposes the ability to receive. The possibility to impress an idea upon another mind presupposes the ability of that mind to receive that impression. Fools exploit the world; the wise transfigure it. It is the highest wisdom to know that in the living universe there is no destiny other than that created out of imagination of man. There is no influence outside of the mind of man.

Summary: That imo is our relationship to others. You can offer change, offer a loving change. You cannot force another person. People will reflect back to you what you believe of them IF they are capable of it. But I don't believe that Neville taught that you can force a certain person to anything.

A problematic verse? "Any man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery with her." One of the more important verses, maybe.

In recent years, I've begun to try to slowly understand the bible more from Neville's point of view. One thing I understand is that "men" tend to generally represent the "reasoning" mind. The thinking part. Women and family / children tend to represent emotions, feelings, senses, etc.

The verse I quoted there (Mark 10:11-12 / Luke 16:18) states that marrying a divorced woman is committing adultery with her. This has always been one I saw as problematic.

So let's look at it from a Nevillian point of view. Any rational thought that marries (clings to / ruminates on) a divorced emotion / feeling / experience, commits adultery with that thought.

Neville always emphasized not dwelling in any thought pattern that you didn't want to manifest. He told a story of a woman who designed sets for a theatre. Her boss would always criticize her. She would drive to work mentally arguing with him.

She was married to this idea of him as a hateful, judgmental jerk.

Her marriage to the idea, her fidelity to her belief in his jerkishness, manifested into her outer experience. By entering into a false belief (a divorced woman) and an untrue belief about him, she was "committing adultery." She was causing the boss to behave according to her expectations. Causing him to "sin" (adultery).

When you look at another person and see them as "thus and so," you are committing "adultery" with this idea of them. You are marrying the concept of Joe Blow as a jerk, or Sally Sparks as a bitch, or Jordon Johnstone as a fool. Your faith in their "badness" and your dwelling in the thought of them as if married to that view of them, is adultery.

You live in anger at them. You miscreate. You dwell. You rant. You rage.

You miscreate. Then you blame your miscreation.

You assume the worst but you forget that the Law is called The Law of Assumption. "No, Sandi, you don't understand. Joe really IS a jerk!" That is your miscreation.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

Who is the lord? Your own wonderful human imagination. You must come to accept that, if Joe is a jerk, and you are dwelling in this assumption about him, then you are miscreating. It does you no good to blame the creation. You are the creator. Your wonderful human imagination, "I the Lord do all these things."

Either you accept it, or you do not, but you are creating regardless.

It's all working in your favor.

Romans 8:28 He makes all things work together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose.

"Someone will come to me and say, 'I did what you told me to do, and I was fired!' and I won't bat an eye." -Neville

Whatever is happening is happening to make your outcome happen. You seek a certain thing, and everything is working together to make it come to fruition for you.

If you hold onto this idea, and you continue to persist in the state of the wish fulfilled, you will soon be able to understand the "bridge of incidents." This is why you don't look for signs. First of all, by looking for signs you are thinking you know better how it should happen than does the higher order / the law / divine part of yourself.

Your conscious perception is miniscule.

I go back to this a lot, because it's fascinating to me how strangely and perfectly it played out. I received a free car from my boss's mechanic's doctor. The very day my old car gave up, the doctor turned to the mechanic and said, "Do you know anyone who needs a car? I've decided to donate mine."

Nothing I physically did contributed to this. I didn't take inspired action to go find this doctor. Indeed, I never even met him. At all.

And the doctor wanted to give the car to someone who would care for it and love it. And I did.

But I wouldn't have gotten that car if mine hadn't broken down. I would have remained in that one, paying an arm and a leg for a repair I couldn't afford, or losing my car and "everything" with it. No car, no work, no driving my kid to school (he went out of district, so no bus).

You can not know the outcome. Lost your job? How do you know for sure that there isn't a new and better one, but you'd have stayed at this one if you hadn't been fired? You don't know, so how do you manifest your way out of this new "problem"?

You don't see it as one, that's how. "This will be good for me. This will help me. This is for my benefit." Even if you can't see it right now.

I ended up homeless, but now I'm living in a wonderful, beautiful apartment in the heart of a city I've come to love. I'm being productive (such as it is, it's art, but that's something). My old apartment's rent had gone from $200 less than my total monthly income, to $100 over it. Now I pay 30% of my income and no more. This was a huge, huge upgrade for me.

In the meantime, whilst homeless, I returned to drawing because I couldn't be on my computer all the time. My bored restlessness turned into something meaningful. I drew a picture this time that I'm actually rather proud of. It's fascinating. I have focus like I haven't in decades and I'm on medication that helps me no longer live in nonstop suicidal ideation (yes, for the moment, I accept the assistance of medication to get to my state, and yes, prescribed, lol).

Anyway, my point is, you can choose to constantly tell yourself "this is terrible," or you can tell yourself, "I cannot wait to see how this plays out! I know this will turn out wonderfully!"

Go forth and persist!

I made this to represent trichotillomania at the request of a friend who has it.

This is my own original work. I hope some of you might find it interesting also.

It has a UV layer. The UV layer shows tears running down her face, and has statements on either side. The black and white one says: "As dark and difficult as life can be, remember..." and the color one says, "You are still bright and bold and beautiful"

I wanted to represent the disorder, as my friend requested I do. However; I felt like the person experiencing it should be represented, too.

This is The Juxtaposition of Trichotillomania

I may not relate, but my heart goes out to you all. Be well.

Christianity's idea of "free will"

This is Christianity's idea of free will:

"If you don't suck my god's [religion], he will burn you with the blowtorch he's holding. Now, please understand, he loves you and I love you. All you need to do to avoid the blowtorch is to suck his [religion]. Nobody is threatening you here. You have complete free will to decide to suck his [religion] or not. I'm just trying to help you. I don't want you to be scared, I just want to make sure that you understand that being told to suck my god's [religion] or else is completely loving and non-threatening. But if you decide not to accept my word for it and suck my god's [religion], I promise you, you will be burned and tortured. Because he loves you so much, and all he wants, the ONLY thing you have to do to not be torched, is suck his [religion]!"

Later on in court: But Your Honor, you must acquit, I warned them that if they didn't suck my [religion], they would be burned with a blowtorch. They had free will to suck my [religion], but they chose not to! Being torched is just the natural consequence of not sucking it!

Conformation help; is she butt high?

I drew this as a thank you card. My boyfriend convinced me to hide something goofy in the picture. I'm interested in opinions on the horse, and to see if anyone finds the Easter egg.

Have a lovely day, all. Hug your horses once for me, please!

The unwanted relationship, the breakup, the fix.

Forgive my brief mention of politics, it won't last, I promise. My relationship saga began after the election saw the state I was living in with my son go hardcore red (New Hampshire). To try to get him safe, I took a very meandering route that led me to other countries, no less. In the end, I ended up in Vermont, which is where my son and I reside.

When I got here, it was Valentine's day 2025, no less. I cried the entire day and felt like a complete failure. It was hard. I had left my son with his dad and I was now officially homeless.

So that's the backdrop of this story. I 'moved in' to a homeless shelter in VT. During the weird pre-Vermont saga, I had been working hard on using the Law to feel safe. This is important to understand, particularly because of the way I was doing it.

Decades ago, my fiancé disappeared. That's another story, but the point is that I used a memory of him hugging me to make me feel safe, connected, happy. I replayed that memory over and over whilst I played a specific song. After I had done this for a few weeks, as soon as I put that song on, I would immediately enter that state. I relived the moment so many times and it was (is) now anchored to that song. The song is itself a trigger for these feelings.

Back to the point, I was in the shelter. I told everyone that a.) I don't want a relationship, no way, no how; and b.) I sure as hell don't want to start one while I'm homeless!!

But if you know the Law, then what came next should be no surprise. I was living in a state every time I wanted to feel safe. It wasn't ONLY a safe state. I was remembering (reliving vividly in first person and present tense) being safe. And happy. And loved. And chosen. And connected...

And in a relationship.

I noticed this guy who is in my opinion extraordinary. He was kind to everyone. He was always volunteering. He was gentle. He was pleasant. I did nothing but notice him. One day, he came and sat down beside me. The next day, too. Then he ended up at the same homeless shelter. We talked, but... I didn't want a relationship, so I thought nothing of it. He was just nice. Sweet (I like sweet).

Before I really understood it was happening, I was in love. He pursued me, and I wanted to be caught at that point, despite all of my mental resistance (and I had a LOT for various reasons). It was the surface resistance that let him slide in under my radar. "Nah, lol." Oh dear.

Alright, so fast forward a bit under a year later. I began, unintentionally again, the process of manifesting a break-up. I became worried. What was he doing when I wasn't there? How would I even know? That girl seemed interested in him and she's his 'type'. We were spending less time together. I also wondered if he was only using me, as I was helping with some expenses. When I got my own place and had bills, maybe it would end because I no longer had anything to offer.

I forgot. I forgot that I was in control of how I felt. I forgot that I could feel loved and wanted and chosen and happy and safe. I began to worry and fret and fear.

A few days ago, the inevitable happened. The breakup I had been mentally and emotionally "preparing for" by living in it... happened. He blocked me for several days. He actually blocked me! I had to remind myself that trying to circumvent a block is stalking. I didn't do it. But I wallowed. I lost myself in the fear and the pain for a time.

Then I remembered. I realized what I was doing. So I gave up on trying anything 'out there' to get him back. After all, fortunately (yes, fortunately), I was blocked. I had no ability to take action without being super creepy. I would rather not be creepy. :P

I went back to the state. This time, I had a memory of T holding me. I remember the first time he hugged me. The warmth of it. How he wrapped me up in his coat because it started to rain and it was dreadfully cold. I refused to let any pain come into the remembrance.

I lived that moment over and over. When I cried, I told myself it was because I was so happy. So happy he reached out. So happy to be back together. I told myself that he couldn't stop thinking about how much he loves me, either. That he also missed me this badly.

But I was still having painful emotions and I had to keep getting them in check. At one point, in a fit of emotion, I deleted the contact, so he was no longer in my contacts (but I didn't block him). I had seen him on the bus that day and he hadn't even acknowledged me in any way. I thought briefly, "It's so easy for him. He just moved on just like that." Then I firmly told myself, "No. He's missing me as much as I'm missing him. He can't stop thinking about how much I love him and how much he loves me."

That night, my cats freaked out early in the morning. Moments later, I actually heard his notification sound. I was like... wait. My do not disturb is on, this is literally impossible. Also, he was no longer a contact. But it pinged again. I looked. He missed me. He was so sad.

I replied. No anger, just love. After all, I do love him. I missed him. I was SO overjoyed. I then noticed as I was looking at his text and drinking in the joy of it, with tears on my face, I saw that he had called and it hadn't rang. Why did it not ring, but it did ping his texts?

I called back. We're together again. I am remembering to live in the state of being loved, and chosen, and connected, and close.

I want you to note something. Even while we were together, I was living in a state of fear instead of being loved. And when we were apart, even though yes sometimes I was sad, I worked to live mostly in the state of being loved. Even though he wasn't there, I still listened to my song and I relived the memory of being loved and chosen by him.

His presence (whether there or not) was not the cause of my emotions. And the presence (or not) of your lover is not the cause of your emotions or your state. YOU MUST INTERNALIZE THIS.

Whether it's a relationship, or a car, whatever. The lack or presence of it is NOT the source of your feelings. Imbed that deeply into your being. Let it never again escape your constant awareness.

You are most likely failing because you'd rather live in hell than discipline your mind

Hell is when your mind is set loose to do as it pleases without oversight. Why? Because your brain is a repetition machine, but it's one that's eager to please.

They've been trying to tell you this in many of these circles. "Where attention goes, energy flows." Etc. But Neville said it plainly. He said it clearly. He said it without frills.

>Because consciousness is the only reality I must assume that I am already that which I desire to be. If I do not believe that I am already what I want to be, then I remain as I am and die in this limitation. > >Man is always looking for some prop on which to lean. He is always looking for some excuse to justify failure. This revelation gives man no excuse for failure. His concept of himself is the cause of all the circumstances of his life. All changes must first come from within himself; and if he does not change on the outside it is because he has not changed within. But man does not like to feel that he is solely responsible for the conditions of his life. > >“From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.”

You fail because you allow your mind to keep saying "I am not that (which I wish to be)." You allow your mind to respond to what you see out there. YOU INDULGE IN THINKING ABOUT YOUR EXTERNAL EXPERIENCE.

You fail because your brain presents to you seductive "food for thought" which is to mentally argue with that person who you say upset you.

But here's the truth, no one can upset you. This is hard to accept. I confess that it's something that I have allowed myself to indulge in even though I have managed other discipline. But in reality, if you took a moment to breathe and to turn your mind to a memory that brings you joy, you would cease temporarily to be upset. Why? Because you are the source of the mindset that is giving you distress. You have the power to control your thoughts and feelings, but you do not do so.

You would rather live in the hell of a mental argument than to discipline your mind. It's tedious at first. It's hard at first. It takes constant vigilance at first. AND YOU WILL SAY THIS IS TOO HIGH A PRICE TO PAY. It's too hard. It's too tedious, it's too much to ask.

And so you continue to live in hell, blaming everything except your lack of mental discipline. You must consistently apply the law. "PERSIST" -Neville

You cannot discipline your mind for a bit. You must discipline it regularly. Mental discipline is the answer to all of your life circumstances.

If you have a breakup, you created a breakup. Do not take BLAME for it, but merely responsibility. There is a difference. To blame is to fall into negative emotions and thoughts. "How dare you!" No. Simply take responsibility. "I have dropped the glass of milk. I will clean up the milk and wash the glass. I will refill the glass." That's it. That's responsibility. You do not cry over the spilled milk. You do not kick yourself in the shins because you spilled milk. You clean up. Peacefully. Kindly. Gently. It is just spilled milk, even if it feels bigger or worse. Everything you have created becomes emotionally no more than spilled milk. No self-hatred, no beating yourself up. "OKay, I have made a mess. I shall clean it." PERIOD.

Discipline your mind because the alternative is to live in hell both inside and out. You miss your lover? You have spilled the milk. Clean it up. Live in the state you wish to live, in your mind. When your body wails, you reframe it. "I am crying because I am so happy." It doesn't matter to your body why you're crying. It doesn't care. It simply obeys the directive to cry. So if you are crying, tell yourself a new story about why. "I am crying with joy."

I'm a crybaby, ngl. But now I tell myself every time that I'm crying with happiness. Because your body has the same symptoms if you're overwhelmed with joy as it does when you are overwhelmed with grief. It knows no difference. So claim the tears for your HEAVEN and stop living in your personal hell.

If you are living in hell "out there," then know you are living in hell IN THERE. Don't be upset with yourself. And also, gently, respectfully... don't be lazy and indulgent. Do your due diligence mentally so that your hell will finally end, and you can finally enter into the Land of Milk and Honey.

Your desires are the Promised Land. Live in it in your own wonderful human imagination, because if you have the desire, it is your PROMISED LAND.

The feeling of "it is done."

The feeling of "it is done," is really the feeling that "it is true." If you want to know what that feeling is, and how to create it, then here is your method:

  1. Think of something you are certain is true. "The sky is blue on a clear day at high noon." Then add a few more things. "This shirt is red. This chair is green."
  2. Repeat these nonsense truths. Test what it feels like in your body to say, "The sky is blue" and know it's true. What does that feel like?
  3. Say it again and feel what it feels like in your mind when you say the sky is blue.

Now, say the sky is blue, this shirt is red, [My desire is done], this chair is green. Keep your focus on the feeling, not the words. What is it like to just KNOW that the sky is blue? Maintain that feeling.

  • The sky is blue.
  • This shirt is red.
  • My body is in perfect health.
  • This chair is green.

Simple. Repeat the things you know are true or real. Insert your desire once. Repeat the [known] truths. Indulge the feeling of "the sky is blue. I have no doubt that the sky is blue. It is absolutely certain that the sky is blue. My body is definitely in perfect health. The sky is blue at noon on a clear day, everyone knows this. Even blind people know the sky is blue, even if they don't know what blue IS!"

So you see? There is a feeling that goes with certainty. You can LEARN that feeling and begin to apply it to your desires.

Dear Christian Men (and women, kinda)

We know you lurk here, so if you get something out of it, great. But this is a rant, I don't want your input.

If I could say one thing to young christian men, and by extension, also to christian women, it would be this:

#Nobody owes you fuck all just because you've done things for your stupid fucking god.

We (women) are not GIFTS or REWARDS. If your god owes you something, take it up with him. We're not your servants who have been bestowed upon you by god to do your unrelenting bidding.

We do not have to clean your house because you "took such good care" of the last woman you were with who, of course, "didn't appreciate it." I'm sure you were less entitled with her (lol).

We don't owe you for your charity work. We don't owe you for being a good boy and not fucking around. We don't owe you for not raping that one girl that one time when you could have. We don't owe you for "not giving in to [your] porn addiction."

Women don't owe you fuck all.

You are not ever, at all, owed the sexual use of another person's body. The intimate act of trusting another person in such a vulnerable moment is a sacred act, whether you are religious or atheist. It's a moment of trust, especially for most women. It's a vulnerable moment, and you should appreciate it for that.

#YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO IT.

No matter who you are. Man, woman, enby, gay, straight, I don't care. YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED to the use of another person's body sexually.

Not even if you did the dishes.

Not even if you swept the floor.

Not even if you pay the bills.

If your relationship isn't what you want, leave it. You aren't going to change that person, and the fact that you feel like you need to, IS TELLING YOU TO LEAVE.

Try to work it out, yes. But if that fails, go. YOU. ARE. NOT. ENTITLED.

And one more time, IF YOUR GOD OWES YOU, MAKE HIM PAY YOU. Not a woman (or man).

Nobody owes you shit for anything you didn't do for them personally.

This is something I see in christian men over and over and over and over. And I've read yet another manifesto from a christian school shooter. YOU ARE NOT FUCKING ENTITLED TO A WOMAN'S BODY. Fuck every last one of you who thinks that women's bodies are "gifts from god" and who teach others to believe that. Just... fuck you. Fuck!

I put my clothes on him and he just stayed there (OC)

Tossed clothes on him to be hung up because he lay down in the way. He just stayed as I added more.

This is Jerry.

The Ladder Experiment (Book: Out of this World)

This is a link to someone reading it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aO_XltYHGWc

People keep asking which book that experiment is in, so I thought this would help those who are interested in it. If you don't like to listen to it, there is a link to read it: https://www.nevillegoddardoutofthisworld.org/

This is a great book to revisit even if you've read it before. He speaks on Time on and "the 4th dimension".

>Assumptions awaken what they affirm. > >As soon as man assumes the feeling of his wish fulfilled, his four-dimensional self finds ways for the attainment of this end, discovers methods for its realization. > >I know of no clearer definition of the means by which we realize our desires than to experience in imagination what we would experience in the flesh were we to achieve our goal. > >This experience of the end wills the means. > >With its larger outlook the four-dimensional self then constructs the means necessary to realize the accepted end. > >The undisciplined mind finds it difficult to assume a state which is denied by the senses.

We need moderators

We need more moderators. However; it's important to understand that this sub is heavily moderated, and we have pretty specific rules. There are certain types that come here because they know that NDEs have a kind of unique legitimacy that they can attempt to capitalize on for their own agendas.

The learning curve is a bit steep to learn how to moderate on Reddit to begin with, and more so when there are such specific rules.

When I began moderating, the sub basically consisted of atheists and christians arguing with each other or others in pretty much every post and comment thread. It was a battleground. The reason it's so heavily moderated is to prevent that, for the most part. The other consistent issue that had overrun the sub, though, was suicidal ideation or fear of death (often related, believe it or not).

That being said, however, a great many people with serious mental illness end up coming here as well. We must often ban people with OCD because their compulsions end up spilling onto the entire sub. This is a difficult and deeply painful thing to do if you have compassion and empathy, so moderating here is often not easy.

With these encouraging disclaimers in mind, please let me know if you're willing and interested in putting in the labor and risk the mental health challenges of moderating here, lol. Cheerful this morning, aren't I? :P

We have one pending new moderator already, u/Eastern-Peach-3428 and I would like to start a new 'team' or group of moderators to learn together. Onboarding just one at a time adds to the difficulties, and it's good to have each other to turn to and discuss moderation questions together.

Thank you for reading, and please modmail us if you are interested. Ideal candidates will be willing to enforce the rules, so familiarizing yourself with all of them before volunteering would be an excellent idea.
