Hi all, I'm trying a rather silly 'sleeper build' where I'm trying to build a modernish PC into a 1980s PC case to be an HTPC for an old CRT TV.

For this purpose, I got an old Dell Optiplex 9020 PC. It was working fine, and I setup all the software before making the transfer.

Now it is not turning on, and the only feedback I get is 2 beeps a gap and 1 beep, which my initial lookup seems to indicate may be a busted mobo. This error is the same regardless of if I unplug the RAM and GPU.

I'm just confused as to what broke in this simple transfer. The only 'major' change is I had to get a bracket for the CPU fan, since it doesn't screw into the case.

The only other things that come to mind:

• There's some sensor that seems to check if the PC is open. Thing is, it booted just fine with the case open before...but even holding that button down, no change.
• The board doesn't really screw into the old case, at all. Obviously a completely different standard. I just scewed in one case screw. Would this have any effect on actual function? Is there somehow some kind of short happening? I haven't tried putting it back in the original case yet, since it would mean taking off the fan again.

I'd appreciate any insight before I go out and buy a new motherboard for it, especially if the result would end up the same.

So I recently learned IMAX has a ratio that is awfully close to 4:3 (1.43 vs 1.33) and it got me wondering, do movies have released IMAX cuts?

Like is there a way to get, for example, Into the Spiderverse with a 1.43 aspect ratio? Would be neat for my TV and fantastic for my projector (if I can ever set it up, lol)

So I've got a WM-FX477 that I've tried to repair...a couple times now.

Radio is great, works like new. The trouble is the cassette portion has all sorts of issues.

First the belt was goo, but I replaced that no problem. But then it wouldn't play anything, and the tape would only spin if I squeezed the button hard. I opened it up and used an external button from a game controller to make it clear, it was the pressure not a lack of contact.

So I opened it back up and realized the mechanism to lower the head was very stiff. I greased that and the motor and it seemed to help.

Now I press the button and it trys to play the tape, the reels spin...then sounds like it stops, maybe reverses? And then gives up, no sound besides the beeps.

So I ran the thing with the door open, manually pushing the door close checker pin so I could observe playback. The head does not seem to lower at any point.

Any idea what might be causing this issue and how to fix it?

Hi, I got TMM for basically one reason. I have a show of many little episodes (Star Wars Clone Wars) saved as two Volumes, as presented on the DVD.

As far as I can tell, no scraper uses this sorting, so I scraped the show, it thought 'Volume I' and 'Volume II' where episodes 1 and 2. I just edited the meta data for these episodes and assumed it would import as a season with just two episodes.

The problem is when I import to Kodi, it simply has no episodes whatsoever. The art is being picked up by kodi, it's just a totally empty episode list.

Is there something I am missing to add in the TV show nfo file?
