I just noticed it has rear-wheel drive. I live in a rural area, lots of small roads that can get icy and snowy in the winter… 😕

Am about to buy a used Buzz Pro 2023. Waiting for it to arrive at the dealer for a test drive. Unfortunately installing a charger at home will take at least three months, but I’m looking forward to ditching my current massively expensive diesel Skoda which is falling apart.
De sjoemelaar begint steeds meer kuren te vertonen en dus wordt het tijd voor wat anders. Ik heb een hoop zonnepanelen en rijd voornamelijk korte afstandjes, met af en toe heen en weer naar de familie (2x225km) en de wens om in de toekomst af en toe Europa in te trekken, bijvoorbeeld richting Italië en omstreken.
De sjoemelaar heeft eigenlijk de gewenste maten. We wonen afgelegen in het noorden van Nederland, en ik vervoer regelmatig zakken kippenvoer, af en toe een paar strobalen, hout, zand, aarde en twee grote Newfoundlanders. De achter-instap voor de honden moet zo laag mogelijk zijn zodat ze goed via de loopplank kunnen instappen. Met enige regelmaat gebruik ik een aanhangwagentje om grotere spullen te vervoeren.
Ik heb nooit veel interesse in auto’s gehad, en ik probeer me wat in te lezen, maar zie door alle bomen het bos nauwelijks. Ik ga er van uit de een gebruikte auto een verstandiger keuze is, maar heb er niet echt een argument voor. Ik zoek niet alleen aankoopadvies, maar ook een site, of meerdere, waar ik kan beginnen met leren over de do’s en don’t’s, hoe het zit met laadpalen en het aanschaffen van een laadpaal, enzovoorts.
Budget… 40k of daaromtrent.

Four and a half years ago, my fridge beeped. After two years, it needed its air filter replaced. I ordered it online, and the only option was to buy a package containing two. I installed one, and carefully put the other one away, knowing I would need it again in two years.
Now I can almost hear y’all think “He’ll forget where he put it, of course. Common story.”. But no! Two years later the fridge beeped again, wanting its filter replaced, and I instantly knew where it put it. I took my tools, took the filter from where I stored it and got up to my fridge, all ready to replace the thing. I have the filter literally in my hand, as I get an income call on my phone. It’s my wife. I take the call. She’s getting groceries and asks me to check the pantry for something. I walk to the pantry, answer her questions, end the phone call, and walk back to the fridge.
I’ve been searching for this damned filter for more than a week now. I must have put it aside, somewhere between the fridge and the pantry. I kept the damned filter safe for two years, only to somehow lose it seconds before installing it.
I have no words to describe the emotions I’m feeling right now. I don’t think there are words to describe these emotions. And if these words do exist, I am sure speaking them would unleash demons, or shred the veil of reality, or something unpleasant like that.
Ah well. End of rant. I haven’t checked under the fridge yet, and perhaps I’ll double check all pockets in clothing in the laundry basket.
Ik vond dit op m’n oprit tussen het grind. Ik heb geen flauw idee wat het is, maar misschien is het belangrijk…
Ik loop wel eens over de oprit met simpel dhz gereedschap, of m’n oude benzine maaier, laatst met een elektrische verticuteermachine, en er staan uiteraard ook geregeld auto’s. Het zal wel ergens uit gevallen zijn, maar waar uit? Iemand enig idee?
